24 MonthsBachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Manipur University, Imphal.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates seeking admission to B.Ed. the course must have a bachelor’s degree or higher degree in sciences, social sciences, or Humanities from a recognized University securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Sciences and Mathematics with 55%. There shall be a relaxation of marks in the case of ST, SC, OBC, and minority candidates as per rules laid down by Manipur University and NCTE from time to time.
Admission Details
The B Ed admission of the College shall be made on the merit of the qualifying examination (50 %) and the entrance test (50%) of the college. The Entrance Test shall be examined in General English (40 marks), General Knowledge ( 35 marks for multiple choice school subjects, GK, etc ), and Teaching Aptitude (25 marks for multiple choice). The date of the Entrance Test will be notified in due time.
