Placement Cell is a unit of Sammilani Mahavidyalaya Career Guidance & Placement Sub-Committee. The broad activities of this cell are to guide students to achieve maximum possible placement opportunities.

The precise functions of the Cell are to arrange different training programmes to guide students on various interview techniques, group discussions, aptitude tests, and to provide guidance to the students willing to succeed in future life. In order to achieve the goal, the committee runs various kinds of vocational courses under the heading of SMV School of Vocational Courses. Besides, the placement cell makes an endeavor to enhance the employability chances of the students by conducting job fairs, different corporate-related interactive sessions, Career oriented Seminars on regular intervals.

The college has a Club facility for the students. 

The college has good networking for the alumni association. It is an apolitical organisation maintaining a liaison between the present and the past and involved in multidimensional activities.

The college has a transport facility for the students. There is no need to provide transport facilities to the students and the staff because, being located very close to the E.M Bypass (50m), Satyajit Metro Station (300m), and Baghajatin Railway Station (500m).

The college has a convenience store facility for students. (like, photocopying facility & stationery, etc.) The photocopy centre is located in the college premises. Facilities like Internet service, printing, binding, etc., are also available in this centre.

The college has the Banks/ATM facilities for all students. There is a Punjab National Bank with the branch name Sammilani Mahavidyalaya within the campus of the college to provide banking services to the students, staff & also the local community.
