SCCT Navi Mumbai Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college library collection includes books on various subjects of the seventh Streams. The bound volumes of journals are also available. The area of the library is 1036.31 sq. feet. The Library is divided into different sections - Home Issue Section, Study Room Section, Periodical Section, Reference Section, E-Resources Section, and Self-Financing Courses Section, The reading rooms can accommodate around 200 users at any time to supplement the existing resources in the library, and the library website is being used as a platform to provide open access resources through the E-Resources webpage. Access is provided to fully downloadable e-books, e-journals, audiobooks, theses, rare books, manuscripts, e-learning content, etc., for the benefit of the users. The various aspects of the library have been integrated and digitized within e-Granthalaya, the integrated Library Management Software from the National Informatics Centre (NIC). This software is useful for the automation of in-house activities of libraries and for providing various online member services.

The college has always believed in the all-round development of students. So we conduct various activities from time to time to keep our students fit and updated. Several students take part in different events as per their interests and capacity. We have a big playground around 100sq. mtrs. We used to conduct football, volleyball, cricket, table tennis, carom, kabaddi, and athletes. We have enough space for a gymkhana where students can utilize their free time. 

The College Department has a well-equipped three-computer laboratory (having areas of 100 sqft,60 sqft, and 60 sqft each) housing more than 70 desktops and servers with the latest configuration. All the computers are interconnected to various high-end servers running Operating Systems like Windows XP and Linux, and backed by UPS power backup. All computers are equipped with the latest P4 dual-core processor-based workstations that are connected to the Windows Server with a Local Area Network. It is supported by a Gigabit Cable Network, and the speed ranges up to 1 GBPS. All labs are air-conditioned, well-lit, and well-maintained, and under the surveillance of CCTV. We have a sufficient number of projectors for each computer lab, and we also have a portable projector for lectures

The college has boasted of having a state-of-the-art seminar/ conference room on its campus. The hall is fully air-conditioned with a seating capacity of around 200 persons. The main dais can seat around 8-10 dignitaries. The facilities available at the hall are an LCD projector with a screen, a podium with large speakers, sophisticated mikes, and CCTV. The hall is well furnished with large windows that provide a garden view of the college

The college has good networking for the alumni association. An alumni association is an association of graduates or, more broadly, of former students. These associations often organize social events, publish newsletters or magazines, and raise funds for the organization.

The college has well-equipped Science labs. All the labs are having the capacity of more than 50 students at a time. Students can do any kind of practical or research work comfortably. All labs Physics, Chemistry and Biology are fully ventilation. 

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The college has a canteen facility for all the staff and students.

The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has a girls' hostel facility, which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college TPO cell is a cell for the students, for the students, and for the students. Hence, their involvement is crucial for its success. 50% of the placement-related information is brought to the cell by the students, as their future is involved in it The cell activity serves as a learning experience for the students to achieve skills in staff work and event management. It also develops their communication skills, soft skills, personality, and attitude

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college also provides good classroom facilities for all the students.
