Auxiliary Nurse and Midwifery (ANM) is a two-year full-time diploma program offered by Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut.


Eligibility Criteria

  • The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. The maximum age limit for admission shall be 35 years.
  • I0+ 2 with English with any stream and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination from any recognized board/ State / Center. Candidates are also eligible for State Open Schools recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open Schools (NISO) recognized by the Central Government However Science is preferable.
  • The candidate shall be medically fit.
  • Married candidates are also eligible for admission.

Admission Details

Candidates are also eligible for State Open Schools recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open Schools (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government having Science subjects and English only.

English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 to be eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing).

Color-blind candidates are eligible provided that color-corrective contact lenses and spectacles are worn by such candidates.

The candidate shall be medically fit.

Married candidates are also eligible for admission

Students shall be admitted once a year.

Selection of candidates should be based on the merit of the entrance examination and the Minimum qualifying marks for the entrance test shall be 50% marks.
