Candidates are required to meet the necessary eligibility criteria
Then, candidates have to register themselves by paying the prescribed fee, which shall be submitted to the university along with 10 hard copies and one soft copy of the synopsis.
The application, along with a research proposal of about 10 pages, needs to be submitted within the stipulated time.
Shortlisted candidates are required to make an oral presentation before a panel of experts.
The candidate will be entitled to be admitted only if his/her candidature is approved by the panel of experts
In deserving cases, the expert panel may recommend a second opportunity to make the oral presentation within a period of 20 days
If the expert panel finds the candidate unsuitable even after the second presentation, the said candidate will be considered as having failed in the selection process, and the candidate may be informed accordingly
There will be two progress reports before a draft thesis is submitted.
If a particular progress report is not satisfactory, the candidate may be asked to resubmit the same.
All such presentations will be ordinarily made before a committee consisting of a supervisor and two experts identified by the PG council.
All progress reports will be submitted to the examination department, which will transmit the report to the supervisor and fix the date for the oral presentation
