• Candidates are required to meet the necessary eligibility criteria

• Then, candidates have to register themselves by paying the prescribed fee shall be submitted to the university along with 10 hard copies with one soft copy of the synopsis.

• Application along with a research proposal of about 10 pages needs to be submitted within the stipulated time.

• Shortlisted candidates are required to make an oral presentation before a panel of experts.

• The candidate will be entitled to be admitted only if his/her candidature is approved by the panel of experts

• In deserving cases, the expert panel may recommend a second opportunity to make the oral presentation within a period of 20 days

• If the expert panel finds the candidate unsuitable even after the second presentation, the said candidate will be considered as having failed in the selection process, and the candidate may be informed accordingly

• There will be two progress reports before a draft thesis is submitted.

• If a particular progress report is not satisfactory the candidate may be asked to resubmit the same.

• All such presentations will be ordinarily made before a committee consisting of a supervisor and two experts identified by the PG council. 

• All progress reports will be submitted to the examination department, which will transmit the report to the supervisor and fix the date for the oral presentation

• Mark list of H.Sc/10+2 or its equivalent.

• Proof of Date of Birth.

• Transfer Certificate from the institution last studied.

• Conduct Certificate from the institution last studied.

• Community Certificate.

• Nativity Certificate.

• Migration Certificate (if necessary).

• Certificates of extracurricular activities if any.

• Five Passport size and Three Stamp size photographs.

• Nationality Certificate and Copy of Passport and Visa (Foreign Students only).

• Pan card of the parent.

• Candidate and parents ID and Address proof issued by government agencies.

• A valid Demand Draft for the prescribed fees as below.
  Tuition Fee of Rs 2,50,000 in favour of 'Saveetha School of Law' payable at Chennai. Amenity Fee of Rs 50,000 in favour of 'Saveetha School of Law CME' payable at Chennai.
