It aims to provide students with a deep understanding of the principles and practices of e-commerce, digital marketing, online business strategies, and the integration of technology in business operations. By integrating both degrees into a single program, students can save time and gain a competitive edge in the job market.
The curriculum of the program covers a wide range of subjects related to e-commerce, including digital marketing, online consumer behavior, e-commerce strategies, website development, e-commerce security, supply chain management, entrepreneurship, and e-commerce analytics. The emphasis is placed on integrating technology into e-commerce operations, with students learning about emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, and data analytics, and how they are applied in the e-commerce industry. Practical skills in website development, digital advertising, social media marketing, and the use of e-commerce platforms are also developed.
To provide practical exposure to the e-commerce industry, the program incorporates internships, industry projects, and case studies. Students have the opportunity to work with e-commerce companies, digital marketing agencies, or start-ups, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of e-commerce operations, online marketing campaigns, website development, and customer relationship management. The program also fosters an entrepreneurial mindset and encourages students to explore opportunities in e-commerce start-ups or launch their own ventures. Business planning, funding, e-commerce business models, and e-commerce laws and regulations are covered to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills.
Interested students must meet the following minimum eligibility criteria for the Integrated B.Com. (Hons.) – MBA program in E-Commerce: Minimum 50% marks in Classes X and XII.
