24 MonthsThis program is based on integrated study of relevant basic sciences and engineering operational activities in Oil & Gas industry practices with emphasis on the application of this knowledge base for exploration, drilling, reservoir and production engineering from subsurface petroleum reservoir to surface facilities and beyond.
The major subjects covered in the curriculum of Petroleum engineering are Geoscience, Exploration, Drilling and Well completion, Reservoir Engineering, Operation and Production Engineering, Enhanced Oil Recovery etc.
Detailed theoretical knowledge of classroom lectures backed by tutorial assignments, hands on practical classes with Industrial exposures provide the students of petroleum engineering a solid platform to become capable future professionals to deliver in their arena of industrial assignment with technical inputs from the beginning.

Eligibility Criteria
For Indian Nationals
- B. E. / B. Tech. in Petroleum Engineering / Hydrocarbon Refinery Engineering / Petrochemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering with minimum 60% or CPI/CGPA of 6.5 on a 10 point scale.
For Foreign Nationals
- From any stream of education recognized as equivalent by Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/UGC/AICTE/other statutory bodies as applicable with English as the medium of instruction.
Admission Details
Admission will be offered to the candidates on merit based on the GATE score.
