36 MonthsThe B. Tech Computer Science & Engineering (Lateral Entry) is a 3-years programme in which we can take direct entry to the 2nd year of the B.Tech programme. Students’ completing the diploma with 50% marks will be eligible for Lateral Entry. A leading-edge curriculum and well qualified faculty prepare budding engineers for the technology, implementation, design and management of software and hardware information systems. Eligibility Criteria
50% in Diploma in Engineering in any branch/discipline of 3-year duration from State Board of Technical Education, Haryana or equivalent examination or B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC with at least 55% marks and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject
For Specializations
60% marks in Diploma in Engineering in any branch/discipline of 3-year duration from State Board of Technical Education, Haryana or equivalent examination or B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC with at least 50% marks and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.
Admission Details
- Admission to the B.Tech. CSE (Lateral Entry) programme is based on merit. Candidates will be shortlisted either through their MRNAT 2025 score or their performance in the Diploma qualifying examination.
Nationality
The programme is open to students of Indian nationality, as well as NRI, PIO, and Foreign nationals who meet the eligibility criteria.
Selection Criteria
Selection is based on merit, prepared using:
- Score in MRNAT 2025
- OR performance in the Diploma Qualifying Examination
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for the admission process accordingly.
