SDRR Degree College, Mudigubba, as an affiliated co-educational undergraduate college in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. The college offers a peaceful study atmosphere for students hoping for a career in science, arts, or commerce.  The admission process of SDRR Degree College is targeted toward choosing deserving candidates for undergraduate programs. The major factor that will be considered for admission into the college will be merit in academics. However, other individual aspects may be considered for selection depending on the specific needs of each program. The college offers four full-time degree courses, each of three years duration, in subjects such as Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, History, Economics, Politics, and Commerce with Computer Applications. Eligibility for admission at SDRR Degree College is the successful completion of 10+2 or equivalent examinations from a reputed board. Subject specifications may differ according to the desired field of study. For B.Sc programs, for example, students are required to have studied relevant science subjects at their higher secondary level to be eligible for application.

Application Process

The application process for admission into SDRR Degree College shall mostly involve:

1. Announcement of Admission: The college will announce admission on its official website and through local newspapers. 

2. Application Form: Application forms will be obtained by the candidates from the college office or downloaded from the official website of the college.

3. Filling Application Form: Application information should be filled in with great accuracy; it comprises personal details, educational qualification, and preference of course. 

4. Submission of Documents: Completely filled applications will include the following documents:

• 10th and 12th Mark List and Certificate
• Transfer Certificate from the previous institution
• Conduct Certificate
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Recent Passport-size photograph

5. Submission of Application: The application form, along with supporting documents, should be submitted to the college office on or before the mentioned deadline.

6. Merit list preparation: The college will prepare the merit list based on the performance of the applicant in their qualifying examination.

7. Counseling and Assuring Seats: Candidates called for counseling will be awarded seats on merit as well as on availability.

8. Payment of Fees: The selected candidate is required to pay the prescribed fee to confirm his/her admission.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Sc. Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry: This program has been granted permission for an intake of 107 students. Admission will be granted on merit lists of the candidates in the 10+2 examination based on their merit performance in Biology and Chemistry.

B.Sc. Math, Physics, and Computer Science: With an approval of the intake of 129 students, the program selects candidates based on their performance in mathematics and physics in the 10+2 level.

B.A. History, Economics, and Politics: This arts course has an approval for an intake of 93 students. As per the admission policy, the overall assessment of all relevant subjects selected by the candidate in the 10+2 examination is followed by granting admission as per the best performance criteria in some relevant humanities subjects.

B.Com. Computer Applications: This is the biggest program with an approved intake of 262 students. Admission is based on merit in the candidates' 10+2 examinations with special consideration to Mathematics and Computer Science (if studied).
