Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social sciences/humanities, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks, or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.

Govt. Dungar College, Bikaner, conducts the PTET examination for admission to the B.Ed. program. For this purpose, the application is submitted to the PTET cell of the Government. Dungar College, Bikaner. The University conducts the examination at various centers for PTET. The candidates who are declared passed in the examination are called for counseling by the Cell, and the college is allotted by the Cell. The Cell prepares the Collegewise lists of the successful candidate,s and the admission is made by the college on the basis of the list provided to it. The college has no role in the selection of the student. No extra charges are taken by the College.
