Shivaji College, part of Delhi University, has a nice vibe and good facilities. The new building is modern and improves the overall atmosphere, while the old one is not as fancy. The college also boasts one of the largest libraries in Delhi University, a valuable resource for students.
this college is okay in terms of academics. The teachers are good, but if you want to do well, you need to put in effort and participate in class. Your success depends on how much you work, so join class discussions and pay attention. The teachers like it when students participate and get involved. The college gives you chances to learn, but it's up to you to take advantage of them.
The college helps students find jobs through its placement cell. It's like having a guide for your career. To make the most of it, join in on all the events they organize. So, participate actively, and consider the placement cell as your friendly helper, always there for you
Shivaji College, part of University of Delhi, boasts a pleasant atmosphere with a commendable infrastructure. The new block offers modern facilities, enhancing the overall environment, while the old block may not be as impressive. Notably, the college houses one of Delhi university's largest libraries, a valuable resources for students.
This college is decent academically. The teachers are good, but to succeed, you've got to work hard and be active in class. Your success is all about your effort, so engage in class discussions and be attentive during lessons. The teacher appreciate students who participate and get involved. The college provides learning opportunities, but it's your responsibility to make the most of them.
The college provides valuable support through its placement cell for students seeking employment. Yet, to maximize these opportunities, active participation in all organized events is essential. Think of the placement cell as your career advisor; it's ready to assist, but your involvement and interest are crucial for success.
The new building JLR(jijabai block) has all the necessary facilities including lifts and special need ramps and equipments. However, old building lacks in providing necessary special need service. We have a special women's room and many sitting areas known as C points.
This college helds a strong grip over courses such as BBE and stands tall at rank 4 among all BBE providing colleges of DU. Other courses such as b.com. and B.SC. are performing quite well too. Overall the academic performance is excellent.
Since I'm not yet graduated and planning for higher studies after BBE...I can't say much about placement.....but the placement cell is quite active and many CAs and buisness officials have accounted themselves in alumni list here.
The fees is a little bit on the higher side. BBE takes around 37K per year.
CAMPUS LIFE IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! our very own sports complex, well equipped auditoriums, big grounds, active societies and ofcourse...the MIND BLOWING fests and POLITICAL DRAMA of shivaji college.....
I absolutely recommend this college if you want to pursue a BBE. THIS COLLEGE WAS MY 4TH PREFERENCE and I'm extremely grateful that i got the college i wanted. It's near RAJOURI GARDEN metro...sooo pretty richy rich lifestyle and creatures can be experienced here ... Mustangs and Porsches are common here...but...the people are extremely helpful and the area is safe and secure.
Infrastructure is amazing. New Jijabai Block has many features and it is well maintained. It has very good air conditioned Computer labs , Zoology labs , Chemistry labs plus two amazing Auditorium too.
Academic is good. I am Studying Business Economics Honour from this college. The teacher are helpful mainly accounts and Economic faculty is very helpful but you have to be active for better academics
Placement is good. As I am a fresher in college I saw few Placement fair plus companies are coming to college and there's a particular group for internship and placement by placement cell of college .
We had all thé facilities like libraries sports room and play ground hostel for male female both and in the hostels good food facilities are also there and girls room available in the campus and clean washroom
Most of the teacher they had PHD degree education and classrooms and washroom all are nice and cafeteria food price were normal play ground had use space parking area is also available transportation service were not there
Placement not gud most of the company can do the hiring in the pvt company but very less company placement were there and for the arts students it’s is less but for the science and commerce students opstion are there
20000 to 30000 per year and per system exam fees approx its was 2000 par subject around 200 rupess and late fees were also there attendance matters for exam but if I can compare with pvt college as par me govt college are most better
Yes it was safe environment and education teachers knowledge is also Verry gud as compare to pvt college teachers and there no level like high class and lover class every one they can triet equal opportunity are there
Education system were gud and teacher they Verry much understand the students problems
Shiwani college is one of the best college for student who wants to completing BA ,it has all the latest facilities .the campus are larger as compared to other college ....I thinks books available in library are not so content full other than classroom are good .
Teacher are very friendly .also the staff are good whenever you have any issue with any facilities in college ,you may fo and talk to them and they provided solution ..I took admition in that college on the recommendation of my friend and get good company in college .
Quality of placement are not so good but its ok because the salary they offer are not so high its average ....placement process are easy and the administration are very helpful this particular thing .they make sure that everyone get best opportunity
Worthable
College campus are best ,neat and clean .also the sports ground are big .
Best thing about this college is its infrastructure only. It has 2 large buildings where the areas are divided for each stream. The Library here is massive, it has 3 floors and is loaded with books which provide us with ample amount of resources to study.
I would say academics are just average and not more than it as teachers are not very much connected with the students of the class and they just come, teach what they want to teach and leave the class which is not a good this according to me.
Placements at this college are more or less good, according to what I got to know from other students who were from commerce and science backgrounds. I was doing Political Science Honors which is a vocational course not a professional one and thus I was not a part of the Placement drive.
As per my point of view, they do not value our money as they are charging around 15K fee for a year and 45K in total for the complete course but the academics are not at par as compared to the fee we pay.
The good this about this college is that they offer a vibrant campus life as there are many clubs like Bizarre (Fashion Club), Footloose (Dance club) and Reverb (Music Club) where one can be a part and enjoy with them.
It is good in all areas accept studies.
The infrastructure is the best thing that is offered by this college as it has a very big campus. The library is also very large and mostly all books are available there that are related to our curriculum.
This is an off-campus college lying in North west Delhi and students and teachers both do not have any intent to study deeply about the subject. All a student can do is, go to the library, get a good book, and do self-study in order to get good marks in examinations.
Many companies come at this college to pick the best of the students to give them good jobs. The Placement Committee and the teachers both work hand in hand to help students get good package to the students.
This college really does not have any value for our hard earned money. They are charging the highest fees among DU colleges irrespective of the fact that it is not even an on campus college. They do not provide the facilities that justify the fees taken by them.
This college is located in Rajouri Garden which has a good large market moreover there are many good restaurants near the college where people can visit and have fun with their friends. College itself has many points where people can have fun time.
This a good college but if they put more efforts on providing a good knowledge to their students.
The infrastructure is great as it has a very big area where the college is situated. It has 2 very big buildings where all the sections are segregated stream-wise. The library of the college is humongous as it has 3 floors.
As far as Academics is considered, the studies at this college is not up to the mark. Teachers just come barge certain words and leave they class. They are not at all considerate about making the students understand what they taught.
I was a student of Political Science honors which is a vocational course and is not related to placements at all. So This makes a bit unaware about the placements but I have seen during February month and the beginning of March there is Placement drive run by the college for students.
This college charges us around 15 to 16k per year which make a BA hons Degree costing around 45k at this college. This is noit the worth money to pay as this is not a campus college and the fact is they charge less than those colleges.
Campus is huge and there are various places to have fun time with your friends in college. Moreover, the is situated at a central location from where you can access the Rajouri market and the nearby places to have good time.college
The college is somewhat good it terms of infra and life but not good for studies.
The college has an above-average college infrastructure as it has a very large campus and the complete campus is divided into the wings of science, commerce and arts. The auditorium is also very big. Moreover, the ground of college is huge, where the annual fest is celebrated every year.
This college is an Off Campus college lying in Rajouri Garden. So, one can not expect that they will get the level of studies offered at the North or South campus. Teachers are so less considerate about the students that even after 3 years they merely remember the names of a few front benchers and others are not remembered.
I studied BA Hons. Political Science has nothing to do with placements so I do not know much about the Placement. but some of my friends who were in BCom. told me that the placement cell of the college relentlessly and bring good companies to the college so that students can get good placements.
This college has a g+fees of 15k per year, which means it costs 45k for the complete course of political science. But To be honest, this college does not value our money as there are other colleges as well, which offers the same degree at a fees of around 5 or 6 know per year.
Campus life is more or less good as there are plenty of pints in the college where one can spend there free time and enjoy with friends. The places like C point, Hawa Mahal, college ground and cafeteria are some of thoes.
It is a good college but overall and the area where it is situated is also good
Hi Subhi Agrawal,
The Shivaji College in Delhi University is pretty good for BA course. There are internship opportunities for students which are similar to final placement roles in order to get practical knowledge. Infrastructure wise, this college has a good campus with all facilities and hygiene. There are hostels
