Shri Nawal Kishore Bharatiya Municipal Girls Post Graduate College, Chandauasi Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a very spacious double-storied enriched library in the college with more than 23807 books and several periodicals on its shelves and cyber points for students and research scholars. A Book Bank with 5999 books provides full sets of books to the meritorious and needy students for the whole session. The carpet area is 2865 sq. ft. It comprises one big and properly ventilated Central hall, well equipped & well arranged with several almirahs containing books, seating capacity of the central library reading room is 100. There are four rooms on every corner of the hall. Two big verandas and four rooms are on the first floor of the library for researchers and PG students. Besides these, many other facilities are also available in the library, such as a computer with the Internet, Power backup, a Catalogue Facility, a Display of New Arrivals, a Reading Room Facility, a Photo State Facility, a Research Centre, etc.

The College has a computer center with computers of the latest technology was inaugurated on 20.02.2010. This center is established to acquaint teachers and students with computer skills and make them computer friendly. These computers are with internet facility.

The College has four laboratories in the science faculty (Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Botany Lab, and Zoology Lab). Each lab is well equipped with apparatus. Three labs of the Home Science Department (Food & Nutrition, Textile Lab, and Home Management) are also well equipped. Three labs are in the Education Faculty (Psychological Lab, Educational Technology Lab, and Audio Visual Lab). The music department has two well-equipped labs for vocal & instrumental music. The Computer Lab has computers with the Internet. ‘O’ Level diploma course is run by this lab.

The college has medical room at our college is equipped to handle routine health needs and emergencies. Our trained staff provides first aid, medical consultations, and health monitoring. We ensure a safe and supportive environment for student well-being. Your health and comfort are our top priorities. 

The College has Multi-purpose Hall is used for academic activities also. Classes of some compulsory papers at the graduation level are arranged there. National-level seminars and conferences, meetings with students, assemblies, etc are arranged in this hall.

The College has 29 well-ventilated classrooms in the institution. All classrooms are furnished. Multimedia Classrooms – Our College has multimedia classrooms for the benefit of the students that are equipped with 45 computers, 11 broadband connections, OHP, 2 Digital Projectors, and SmartBoard. By using this kind of technology, we provide opportunities for the students to try new things and enrich their knowledge, wisdom, etc. in the classrooms and make them fit for the future as demanded.
