36 MonthsDiploma in Electrical Engineering is a three-year full-time diploma course offered by the Directorate of Technical Education and Training, Cuttack, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
- The authorities shall announce eligibility criteria to be followed by candidates for Odisha diploma admission. Candidates have to comply with various requirements like qualifying examination and age, etc. as shown in the table below.

ParticularsDetails Academic Qualification Candidates should have passed the HSC examination or class 10 examination declared equivalent by BSE Qualifying Marks They should have obtained at least 35% marks in aggregate, with at least 30% marks in each subject with English, Math, and Science subjects in the qualifying examination Diploma in All Engineering except Mining & Drilling Age Candidates should be at least 14 years old or above. Diploma in (Mining & Drilling Engineering Age Candidates should be at least 16 years old or above.
Admission Details
The authorities shall prepare a merit list for candidates of Odisha diploma admission based on marks obtained in the qualifying exam. There will be one general list and a separate category-wise merit list released by the authorities. There is a separate merit list as well prepared on the basis of domicile and category of candidates. Candidates having their names on the Odisha Polytechnic merit list will be called up for counseling based on the ranks obtained.
