SJC Institute of Technology Chickballapur was established in 1986 by Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust. SJC Institute of Technology is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). BE/B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA are the SJCIT Chickballapur courses offered at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and the college is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.

SJCIT is well known as "Swamiji college" has all the necessary infrastructure a student might need. We have spacious classrooms with multiple black and green boards, notice boards, 24x7 WiFi, projectors, and well furniture seating desks. We have a plethora of labs for various uses. RND department for practicing various research works. We have an air-conditioned auditorium, well-maintained seminar halls. And the campus is well known for its greenery.
