COURSE OBJECTIVE
B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture involves study of agriculture sciences and use of modern scientific equipment and techniques in agriculture, land surveying, soil science, water resource management, animal and poultry management, basic of biotechnology etc.
COURSE STRUCTURE
Agricultural education is a broad term which includes disciplines of Agriculture (Agronomy), Veterinary Science, Forestry, Fisheries, Horticulture, Home Science etc. The B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture degree in India is typically a 4-year course under credit based semester system.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have passed XII std. (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English or Passed Agriculture Polytechnic (with minimum 60 % marks for open and minimum 50% Marks for backward classes). Those not offered Mathematics shall have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by their respective Universities.
