Snehodaya College of Nursing, Thrissur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College Presently, the hostel accommodates around 80 students. Temporarily the hostel is functioning as a part of the college building. Separate Hostel is under construction and expects to be completed by the year 2015. Stay in the hostel is encouraged to meet the requirements of the course both academic and clinical. Every student who wishes to get admitted to the College Hostel, should make an application at the beginning of academic year in the prescribed application form available at the college office. The college expects full adherence to the rules of the hostel and deviation from the rules may call for strict disciplinary action including dismissal from the hostel. Usage of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in the hostel as well as in college.

The college has health center with first aid facility for the students.

The college has a spacious library of 3350 sq. ft. with books on different fields of nursing and can accommodate 96 students. The Library is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the evening. The Library has an internet connection. The staff and students are encouraged to use the internet for easy accessibility of information in different subjects. Books are kept in a thoroughly professional way for easy accessibility. Important journals are subscribed in the library for the latest information and knowledge of trends in the profession.

The College Students are encouraged to participate in the various extra curricular activities whether it is sports events or cultural events. We conduct talent fest to find out the good talents of the college. Apart from this, students are trained properly for public speaking etc. by giving them different topics to present before the students.

The college has IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The College bus has been arranged for the transportation of students. Apart from this, a 7 seater vehicle has also been arranged for office use.

The College Laboratories provide all facilities to learn and practice before getting into the clinical setting.

The College Classrooms are well equipped with all needed audio-video aids and teaching technology.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
