College infrastructure is good, it has all basic facilities that a student need from smart classroom to wifi availability throughout the campus, qualified and well mannered teachers. And are genuinely approachable.
Academic wise college offers good quality of curriculum for BSc IT. Students get practical knowledge with the quality of topics and technological knowledge offered. Quality of teaching is also very commendable.
Placement is almost zero from the college no company comes to the campus so it's just that you'll get a degree of bachelors and you have to look for on your own. So if getting placed is your priority then you should avoid this College.
Value for money is excellent and outstanding. Among all the college in the district this is the place with the least fees for any bachelor degree. As it offers admission based on merit so if you have good score in 12th you have a high chance go getting selected with very less fees.
Campus Life is amazing regular college events, sports events makes it very interesting to attend. Students, teachers and support staff are really cooperative. Location is near to palghar station so travelling is very minimal.
Overall it's a decent college in terms of fees but not good enough if placement is your priority.
I would say sonopant dandekar college has a comprehensive infrastructure, it has a good set of labs for science students, great library with high quality books, classrooms are quite big to accommodate large number of students, play zone is also quite big with badminton court and lots of carrom boards.
Talking about academics i would say the best part is the teaching faculty, they are well experienced and their teaching style is quite impressive. Curriculum is updated as well with the current standards.
Placement is almost zero for bachelors degree at dandekar college as neither the students nor the faculty talk about placements. Not even a single company comes to the college for placement. So if you are someone who has placement as their priority then this is not the college you should be looking at.
Best i would say because for students coming through merit the annual fees for bachelor degree is negligible that is 5000 per year you will complete your entire bachelors of 3 years in just 15000 what else you need.
Campus Life is amazing you'll get to enjoy here a lot. Canteen is amazing, playground is amazing you can play cricket in your free time. They also now have a turf for college students. Extra curricular activities are also something which attracts everyone's attention.
Nothing much i would say it's a great college and value for money, you'll not get any better college in such less fees.
Infrastructure was quite good, from game zone to libraries to computer lab to play ground my college had everything. Libraries were well equipped with WiFi, AC, Computer, etc. Classrooms had smart boards, projectors, etc.
I studied bcom, my batch was 2019-2022, we had very experienced teaching staff. They were very polite and kind, helpful towards the children. Talking about our curriculum it was well updated with the current standards.
Placement at our college was quite bad. As there was no placement guarantee after the completion of our degree. Nobody got placed and everyone has to depend on their own for the job. So if you are someone who's looking for good placement then this is not the right college.
The best part of my college was the annual fees. Being a student who got the admission through merit. My annual fees was just 5000 and it was very much worth it with respect to the quality of education.
Campus life was amazing, we had a great campus, location was close to the main city attracting quality crowd. Extra curricular activities were the best part of our campus, like NCC, NSS, etc. we had very good canteen serving hygienic food.
The best experience I had in this college was being part of NCC, i learned a lot about unity and discipline which still helps me my day to day life.
The building is decent and kept quite clean. Classrooms are spacious and comfortable enough to sit through long lectures. The basic facilities like the library and labs are fully functional, though the Wi-Fi can be hit-or-miss depending on which corner of the building you are in.
This is where the college stands out. The teachers are polite, highly qualified, and genuinely helpful. They don’t just read from books; they actually guide you through the syllabus and make external exam preparation feel manageable.
For commerce and management, local companies do visit, and basic roles (like junior accountants or executives) are offered. While the online portals mention massive packages, in reality, most average placements range around ₹2–3 LPA. It's a decent stepping stone but requires self-effort.
Highly budget-friendly. For students living around the Palghar/Tembhode belt, it saves massive travel time and costs compared to traveling towards Mumbai or Thane daily, making the education fully worth what you pay.
It’s a very chill, local crowd. If you are expecting a massive, high-profile Mumbai-style campus life, you might find it a bit quiet. However, the atmosphere is friendly, people are approachable, and annual events and sports days bring the campus to life.
A solid, dependable choice for pursuing graduation locally without burning a hole in your pocket. It gives you a safe environment, highly supportive faculty, and standard infrastructure.
As a fresher, the first thing I noticed was that the campus is quite large and well-maintained compared to many colleges in the Palghar region. The college has multiple academic buildings, laboratories, sports facilities, a gymnasium, library, football turf, and cricket ground. The library is one of the strong points, with a good collection of books and digital facilities for students.
Academically, the college has experienced faculty members and follows the University of Mumbai curriculum. Teachers are generally supportive, and regular seminars, workshops, and academic activities help students gain practical exposure. Students who attend classes regularly and engage with faculty can maintain strong academic performance.
Placements are decent but not exceptional. The college organizes placement drives, job fairs, and career guidance programs. Some well-known companies have recruited students, but placement opportunities vary significantly by course and department. Students who actively build skills and pursue internships tend to get better outcomes than those relying only on campus placements.
Considering the affordable fees and the facilities available, the college offers good value for money. It is especially suitable for students from Palghar and nearby areas who want quality education without spending heavily on accommodation or expensive private colleges. The institution has been serving students since 1970 and offers a wide range of courses under the University of Mumbai.
Campus life feels active and friendly. There are cultural events, workshops, sports activities, NSS/NCC opportunities, and student clubs that help freshers interact with seniors and classmates. The crowd is generally decent, and students who participate in extracurricular activities can enjoy a good college experience. The canteen and common areas also provide a good social environment.
As a new student joining Sonopant Dandekar College, I feel it's a solid choice for higher education in the Palghar region. The infrastructure is good, campus life is enjoyable, academics are satisfactory, and the fees are reasonable. Placements are average, so students should focus on developing their own skills alongside academics. Overall, it's a good college for students looking for quality education, extracurricular exposure, and a balanced college experience without spending too much.
The infrastructure is simple but sufficient for day-to-day academic needs. The classrooms, library, and laboratories are functional and well-maintained. The campus is not very large, but it has a comfortable and student-friendly environment.
The teaching quality is good, and most professors are supportive when students need guidance. The college focuses on both theoretical knowledge and practical learning, helping students build a strong academic foundation.
Placements are moderate, with opportunities varying across courses. Students who actively pursue internships, certifications, and skill development tend to have better career outcomes. It gives good placement
Considering the affordable fee structure and the quality of education provided, the college offers good value for money. It is a suitable option for students looking for budget-friendly higher education.
Campus life is enjoyable and inclusive. Various cultural programs, festivals, and student activities create a lively atmosphere and give students opportunities to develop their talents beyond academics.
My experience at Sonopant Dandekar College has been positive. The college provides a supportive environment, decent facilities, and good academic guidance. It may not have the advantages of a big-city institution, but it offers a balanced college experience that helps students grow both academically and personally.
The college has decent infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms, a library, computer labs, and basic sports facilities. While it may not be as modern as some large city colleges, it provides a comfortable environment for learning.
The faculty members are supportive and knowledgeable. The curriculum follows university guidelines, and students who attend classes regularly can gain a good academic foundation. Some departments are particularly active in organizing seminars and extracurricular activities.
Placement opportunities are average. Some companies visit the campus, but students should focus on developing additional skills and gaining practical experience to improve job prospects. Good placement
The college provides quality education at an affordable fee structure. It is a good option for students looking for a budget-friendly college with decent academic standards. It is affordable for medal class family
Campus life is enjoyable with cultural events, sports activities, and opportunities to participate in various programs. The atmosphere is friendly and suitable for personal growth. It has one of the best campus.
My experience at Sonopant Dandekar College has been positive. It offers a good balance of academics, extracurricular activities, and affordability. While placements can improve, it is a good choice for students seeking quality education in the Palghar region.
The college campus is clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by greenery, creating a pleasant atmosphere for learning. The classrooms, laboratories, library, and seminar halls are adequate for academic needs. The library is one of the strong points of the college and offers a wide range of books and study resources
The faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and approachable. Most professors focus on helping students understand concepts rather than just completing the syllabus. Regular seminars and academic activities help students gain practical knowledge alongside classroom learning
Placements are available, but opportunities vary depending on the course. The placement cell organizes placement drives, job fairs, and career guidance sessions. Companies such as TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, and Bajaj Finance have reportedly participated in recruitment activities. Students who actively develop their skills have a better chance of securing good opportunities
Considering the quality of education, facilities, faculty support, and overall college environment, the college offers good value for money. It is a suitable choice for students looking for affordable higher education in the Palghar region.
Campus life is enjoyable, with various cultural events, sports competitions, seminars, workshops, and extracurricular activities conducted throughout the year. Students get plenty of opportunities to participate in activities beyond academics, helping them build confidence and social connections.
As a student of Sonopant Dandekar College, Palghar, my experience has been quite positive. The college offers a good balance between academics, extracurricular activities, and personal development. It is one of the well-known colleges in the Palghar region and provides a comfortable environment for students to learn and grow.
This is my best college and the most beautiful and clean college in our area, best teachers and education is also good here and good infrastructure it has library it labs wifi smart board classrooms .
Amazing place Studied from here I have done my junior college in graduation from this college Handmade a lot of memories Made alot of friends The celebration here is amazing The faculty is amazing The teaching staff is wonderful And always ready to help I have taken 5 year experience of this In 2020 as our 2nd year of BCom was going on the lockdown was announced and after that we never went to college But how much we had spend time here through the years it was amazing Many courses are available here At very nice price You should surely choose this place as your education institute
Approximately 30% to 55% of students secure jobs through college-facilitated drives, though many students prefer to seek off-campus opportunities While a formal centralized placement process can be hit-or-miss, faculty members generally provide guidance and support for interview preparation.
The scholarship department is extremely unprofessional and unfair. Eligible EWS, Open, OBC, and SBC students are being ignored while only a few categories get approvals. No transparency, no clear answers, and no accountability. A department meant to support students is failing them completely — very disappointing management
The institution is highly regarded for its highly affordable fee structure and excellent scholarship opportunities for reserved category students.
Faculty members are often described as knowledgeable and supportive. However, some reviews mention that the curriculum can feel more academic than strictly industry-focused.
