Sri Venkateshwaraaa College of Engineering & Technology, Puducherry offers admissions at two distinct levels. SVCET Puducherry admissions into the BE/BTech programme are given based on the TNEA counselling process. SVCET Puducherry admissions for diploma holders into BE/BTech programmes are given based on the merit of the last qualifying examination. 

A pass in the higher Secondary examination of the (10+2) curriculum (academic stream) prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu is eligible for admission at SVCET Puducherry. Lateral Entry SVCET Puducherry admissions to the second year of a degree programme, candidates should not have completed 24 years as of 1st July of the academic year under consideration.

The B.E/B. Tech programmes are career-focused in engineering and sciences that aim to acquaint applicants with the fundamental ideas of engineering and science. An undergraduate course is the B.E/B. Tech programme which lasts four years. With a minimum of 45 % marks ( 40% marks for OBC/MBC and SC/ST candidates) and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject is considered for SVCET Puducherry admissions.

SVCET Puducherry B.E/B.Tech Admission Process 2025

• Eligible students are advised to submit the online or offline application forms.

• Applicants are advised to acquire merit in their qualifying examinations.

• Students are shortlisted on a merit basis.

• Merit students are advised to appear on campus on said date and time for further processing.

• Students are advised to get registered and appear for the SVCET Puducherry TNEA counselling process.

• SVCET Puducherry Seats are allotted according to the rules and regulations governed by the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu. 

• Once the allocation of seats is done, students are advised to pay the SVCET Puducherry course fee and submit the documents for verification to prove the authenticity of their credentials.
