St John Institute of Pharmacy and Research, Palghar Admission Process

St. John Institute of Pharmacy and Research (SJIPR), Palghar, is one reputed pharmacy institution in Maharashtra. The institute is approved and recognized by NAAC and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and offers various pharmacy courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The admission process of SJIPR is meticulously sculpted to select deserving candidates based on meritorious performance, followed by entrance examinations on a relevant subject basis.

Application Process

There is an application process of ST. John Institute of Pharmacy and Research, Palghar, as per the program:

For B.Pharma and D.Pharma programs:

1. Visit the official website of SJIPR for announcement of admissions.

2. Download application form for the desired program and fill it.

3. Collect all necessary documents, which include:

  • 10th and 12th mark sheets
  • Entrance exam score card (if applicable)
  • Passport size photographs
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)

4. Submit the complete form along with the required documents to the admission office of the institute.

5. Pay application fee as mentioned by the institute.

6. Wait for the merit list by the institute.

7. If selected, report to the institute for document verification and admission confirmation.

For M.Pharma programs:

1. The official website of SJIPR shall contain announcements concerning M.Pharma admissions

2. The application form for M.Pharma can be downloaded.

3. The following documents should be attached to the completed application form:

  • B.Pharma degree certificate and mark sheets
  • Entrance exam score card (if applicable)
  • Work experience certificate (if any)
  • Two passport size photographs

4. Submitting the completed application form with all required documents to the institute.

5. Paying the application fee as mentioned in the admission notification.

6. Interview of shortlisted candidates may also be held, or their call may come for further testing. Last selection will depend on academic performance, entrance exam scores (if applicable), and interview performance.

Degree based Admission Process

B.Pharma: There are 100 seats in the B.Pharma program in SJIPR. Selection for the four-year undergraduate degree course will be purely by merit. Students need to have completed 10+2 with subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics, and an examination will be conducted to determine the merit list based on the performance criteria.

D.Pharma: SJIPR is offering 60 seats for the D.Pharma program. This diploma course entry is based entirely on merit. Candidates with 10+2 qualification in the required subjects can apply for this course. Most selections tend to be based on candidates' academic performances in their qualifying examinations.

M.Pharma: Different M.Pharma specializations available at SJIPR are as follows, each having 15 seats:

  • M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance
  • M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics
  • M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Chemistry
  • M.Pharma in Pharmacology

The minimum eligibility criterion for these two-year postgraduate courses is a B.Pharm degree from a recognized university. The admission process may take into consideration the graduate-level entrance examination results and the academic record of the candidate in the B.Pharma program.
