48 MonthsBachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Statistics is a four-years full-time undergraduate Course offered by St Xavier's College, Ahmedabad and affiliated to Gujarat University, Ahmedabad.
The main objective of this course is to introduce to the students the basic concepts of probability, random variable, expectation, raw and central moments and least square method. The course will enable distinguishing between random and non-random experiments, to find the probabilities of events, to fit various mathematical curves (linear and non- linear) to observed data, to discuss the idea of statistical quality control, and to discuss hypothesis testing.
Eligibility Criteria
A person, who have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with science stream or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
Admission Details
Admission will be on Merit Basis.

College is good in terms of infrastructure, the library has books of almost all whats needed. The eLibrary functions are also great!. Sports facilities are good, competitions are held in respective fields.
