The infrastructure is amazing and makes you fall in love with it. Certain places like washrooms and foyer do need to be looked after. College has two libraries, huge classrooms, adequate laboratories etc.
Academics and overall experience is quite great, though professors cannot go to an extent which students might want them to. Curriculum is good, however it can be made better by making some amends to suit the current need.
From what I've heard from the seniors, placement offers for students holding bachelors degree is quite good as compared to other colleges. It is to be noted that from BA, only students having economics as their single or double major, get a chance to apply for placements and not all.
Without doubt, it's all worth the money. The course costs around 5000-7000 rupees and a little extra amount if you have taken subjects which have practical exams. Money is not really charged too high for the BA degree.
People you meet at xaviers inspire you a lot. There's a lot of diversity in the campus and the vibe is quite eventful and gives a great learning experience. The infrastructure is magnificent which helps provide the satisfaction of studying in a beautiful campus.
The academics, fests, various events challenge you to improve your outlook and personality. Crowd is welcoming as well. The college provides various opportunities, however it really depends on the individual to make the most of those opportunities.
The college comprises of all required infrastructure, facilities and equipment. It is well accessible by wheelchair and caters to all the needs for students. Teachers are very approachable and always make you feel as a part of college
The college has it's very own placement cell which provides Xavierites with good placements and the ECC (Extra Co Curricular) activities help us develop a lot mentally and physically, all these activities are to improves ourselves
The college has an excellent active placement cell which provides suitable placements, the placement cell also provides with Internships for first year and second year students, it also provides mock placements to provide experience to students
Since the college is govt aided except some courses which are also not expensive it's a true value for money. The college doesn't collect any other funds other than fees and supports various causes which helps others
The college has a vibrant and enjoyable environment which makes all the students have a happy life which can impact their overall growth. Malhar being the best fest of College helps you interact and make new friends in college
All the courses and faculty of the college provide the students with the best knowledge and all the requirements of the students are fulfilled. College with it SIP helps to create a behaviour to help the society
Xavier's has all the basic infrastructure and facilities that any student would require. There is a slight problem with connection in certain areas ( as it's such an old building). As far as hygiene is concerned, it still needs some work.
I'm studying Bachelor's in Management Studies. All the professors are really supportive and great at their fields. Professors always include current affairs with their topics for better understanding. The subjects that required continuous upgradation, the department always work on it. The kind of projects we get our very useful and help us to get better insight about the economy and Industry.
The placement cell works fine. All the placements are for BMS and eco hons. The Highest package I guess had gone up to 15L and the average package is 6-7L. The college makes sure we are well prepared for all the arounds of interviews and the job.
My course costs around 30000. Compared to any other college it's very affordable and the college surely gives value for money.
Each corner has some stories and it's a feeling to be in this college. And surely it's more than just academics, industry visits, fests, sports, foreign exchange all are part of Xavier's. Everyone is very supportive and helpful, no regrets if being in this college. The location is beautiful and safe.
Xavier's has great infrastructure, and all the facilities one would expect. We have a great canteen, 2 huge libraries, several labs, and the whole campus is very well maintained. The classrooms are well maintained and have projectors, with provisions for wifi.
Xavier's, being autonomous, has a syllabus of its own. The degree college enjoys autonomy, and not JC. The BMS syllabus is constantly evolving, and we have reference books from international publishers.
Can't comment on the placements, as I'm yet to graduate. Have heard good things about the Placement Committee from peers and the seniors. The average salary for the last year was 8 lakhs, and the highest being 14 lakhs.
Yes the living spaces are clean and canteen is hygienic. The college has facilities like we'll furnished labs and libraries. Well equipped gymkhana and audio and visual room facilities. There's a boys hostel inside the campus.
I'm pursuing my bachelor's degree in the field of sciences. The curriculum is well updated with respect to latest findings, innovations and inventions. The course includes rigorous practice as well...
One. The college has its own placement cell which is a good attraction. Two. The placement cell achieved 100 percent of placements last year for the candidates who applied. The average placement goes to around 10 lakhs
The has great infrastructure facilities that range from libraries hosting a vast number of books to various labs, audio visual rooms equipped with latest technologies, a well maintained gymkhana and many more. There a boys hostel inside the campus.
I'm a student of Bachelor's in Management studies at St.Xaviers college, Mumbai. The course being a self financed course has its own pros to set it's own syllabus which is updated to the recent developments in the field!
1. The average placement goes for 7-9 lakhs every year. 2. The highest package of 2019 went for rupees fourteen lakhs. 3. The college has its own placement cell which is active in inviting top companies to the campus and achieved 100 percent placement last year.
Yes, the college has all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments which includes two libraries, various labs, audio visual rooms, halls, gymkhana, boys hostel, etc. And they are well maintained.
I'm pursuing my bachelor's in Arts, the college being an autonomous institute has made sure that the courses are well updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. The courses are well crafted to meet the quality standards!
The college has its own placement cell which has been successfully functioning since it's initial phase! The college witnessed 100% placements last year with average salary of eight lakhs and the highest of 14 lakhs pa.
The college is well facilitated with a massive library, campus, canteen, gymnasium, etc. However the benches in some classrooms aren't in a proper condition. There's wifi as well which is great. The canteen food is pretty good and the college is always kept clean. U can easily just sit on the ground and that's a usual thing.
The subjects in BMS are taught very well by all the teachers. Since the college is autonomous, it has made sure that everything wrt the syllabus is up to date. Honestly I first took bms because I just wanted to do something wrt management. Our teachers are all very approachable too
So I haven't completed my 3rd year yet However fr what I've heard the placements are very good. Last year someone was placed with Deloitte for an annual package of 10 lacs. And even others r placed pretty well. There's a placement cell which you can approach for internshios which r pretty helpful
Definitely a value for money.Your spending much less as compared to other colleges. The fees are only 36000 rupees per annum. The countless opportunities to excel and do better makeup wash penny spent.
The campus life is A+ U can do a lot of activities in ur free time like badminton, volleyball, basketball, carrom, chess, etc. There are a number of fests u can engage with and that's really gonna help socialize. The college is also very close to the station and is well guarded.
Honestly, Xavier's made me come out of my comfort zone and I developed into a much better version of myself. Everything from academics to college life is amazing.
Yes, my college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments required keeping in mind the special needs of the visually and physically challenged students in the college. Classrooms and libraries have WiFi and projectors.
I'm pursuing BSc Economics Mathematics and Statistics as i want to do my post graduation in data analysis and this is the most suitable undergraduate course for it. Our syllabus is up to date and our teachers make it a point to keep themselves updated along with the changing requirements of their respect fields.
St. Xavier's College, Mumbai has very good placements. It is because of the tireless efforts of the Placement Cell. Among the BSc courses, my course has one of the highest placement rates. The placement cell does a wonderful job in bringing in all the best companies from the respective fields for the best placement offers.
My course costs Rs. 8600 per annum which is veey less as compared to other colleges. The best part is that the quality of education offered is worth every penny paid and more. Not only does the college focus on academic achievement but also on overall shaping of our skills.
The college campus has an aesthetic feel to it because of the British architecture which has been very nicely preserved and maintained. The woods, the foyer and the arches are the usual spots the students use to hang out with their friends.
The libarary is one of the best libraries in the world. Students have access to every book in the library. We have a seperate lending libarary and reference library. Free WiFi is available for airtel and Vodafone users.
Teaching is done through assignments, making of documentaries, radio shows, presentations, plays and TV advertisements. The curriculum is not updated, since it is an autonomous college and they can choose if they wish to update the curriculum or not.
I am not quite sure, since I still haven't experienced it. However, based on the reviews of my seniors, the placement tell is supportive. A few of my friends have received jobs through the placement cell.
Since BMM is a self financed course, we had to pay 36k for the first year.
This college ensures all round development of your personality. It provides an opportunity to meet people living in different parts of the country.
Hello Lalala,
Yes, scoring around 90 in XET BMS in 9–10 days is possible, but only with focused and disciplined preparation. Prioritise high-weightage topics, practice mock tests daily, and analyse your mistakes carefully. Strengthen your strong areas and avoid spending too much time on weak topics now. Consistency and smart
