24 MonthsMaster of Education (M.Ed) is a two-year full-time postgraduate course approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by The West Bengal University of Teachers Training Education Planning and Administration, Kolkata.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for admission to M.Ed. Programme Candidates seeking admission to the M.Ed. programme should have obtained at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in the following programmes:
i) B.Ed.
ii) B.A. B. Ed., B. Sc. B. Ed.
iii) B. El. Ed.
iv) D. El. Ed. with an undergraduate degree (with 50% marks in each). Eligible Candidates are to appear at the admission test. Candidates who have appeared in the final semester of the eligibility qualification are also allowed to appear on the admission test. However, admission will be offered with the condition that he/she will clear the eligibility qualification with a minimum of 50% marks failing which his/her candidature will be cancelled.

- The admission modalities follow the guidelines of WBUTTEPA. as well as N.C.T.E.
- Reservation of seats SC/ST/OBC/PH and another category as per N.C.T.E./ WBUTTEPA / Govt. of W.B. Rules.
- No age bar for M.ED.
