The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination PUC or 10+2 equivalent examination recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, having secured not less than 50% marks in English and 50% marks in PCB taken together. (40% in case of SC/ST) Merit for selection is decided by the entrance (KCET/ COMEDK) examination result where a minimum of 50% marks are mandatory. However, in respect of SC/ST candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 40% instead of 50%.
For Non-Karnataka & CBSE (10+2) Candidates:
Candidates who have completed 10+12 from CBSE Board and Karnataka Students should secure an Eligibility Certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore before the admission process and students who have completed 10+12 other than in India should apply for a Foreign Eligibility Certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore before the admission process. Similarly, Non Karnataka student should obtain a Migration Certificate from the competent authorities of their respective state before seeking admission.
