College of Pharmacy, Humnabad which is a constituent of SVET was started in the year 1992 is recognised as an excellent pharmacy college of Karnataka state in India. The affiliated college is in Bidar district and The Pharmacy Council of India recognised the college and maintains the quality and standard of the education related to pharmacy. Located on a 5.2 acre terrain, the college caters educational services at post secondary level to its 370 enrolled students in different programmes in pharmacy. SVET’s College of Pharmacy has covenanted well qualified 24 members faculties to provide standard educational facility with proper student faculty ratio. The institution offers three unique pharmacy programmes as diploma, bachelor, and master’s degree to meet various educational needs in the field of pharmacy.

SVET’s College of Pharmacy also has various facilities that are well equipped to enhance the student learning and daily life experiences. Symbolically the well equipped library acts as knowledge centre and a comprehensive source of books, directories, journals and electronic media. Training enables students to experience what is offered at modern laboratories, which are important for learners in a pharmacy course. College of Pharmacy – SVET aims at providing quality education in pharmacy field and to accomplish this objective it provides range of pharmacy courses for the interest of the students. The institution provides three full-time programmes: These are D.Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy), B.Pharma, Bachelor of Pharmacy degree program, and M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics. B.Pharma programme is an undergraduate course which comprises of four years and it has an intake capacity of 40 students and M.Pharma Pharmaceutics is a two years post graduate specialisation which comprises of 15 student intakes. The D.Pharma programme which is a two years diploma course is also under its offerings, but the actual intake is not mentioned here. The college has an intake capacity of 370 for all programmes combined and this show that the college offers sufficient opportunity for students to achieve their pharmaceutical education dreams.
