SVI College of Pharmacy and Research, Gwalior Admission Process

SVI College of Pharmacy and Research is an institution exclusively devoted to pharmaceutical education. The D.Pharma program has received recognition from the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and AICTE. The selection process at SVI College of Pharmacy is intended to enroll qualified applicants to a two-year D.Pharma course.

The college admission process is quite easy and simple for those who wish to pursue pharmacy. Students applying for admission are expected to check the official announcements of the college for any relevant information that might affect their application to different programs. The institute may hold its own admission examination or follow merit admissions following marks secured at qualifying examination.

Usually, the whole process is set to the opposite end of the academic year; applications will be initiated in the months just before the start of the academic session. Therefore, the entrance docs the candidate may want to have at hand for application purposes should include those of their 10+2 mark sheet and certificate.

Application Process

The admission procedure is composed of the following:

  1. Declare Admission: Watch for an official announcement for the next academic year's admission.

  2. Application Form: When admissions are announced, please obtain and fill out the application form, which may be done online or from the college campus.

  3. Documents: Documents to be prepared and submitted with the application's originality are:

    • 10th and 12th standard mark sheets and certificates

    • Date of birth proof

    • Category certificate (if applicable)

    • Recent passport-size photos

  4. Entrance Test: The college would conduct its entrance test, provided that the candidates do show for the test on the specified date.

  5. Merit List: If admissions are based on either the 12th standard results or the entrance exam, a merit list will be drawn up.

  6. Counseling and Seat Allotment: Shortlisted candidates will be called for counseling, which will take place with seat allotment being done on the basis of merit and availability.

  7. Fee Payment: Acceptance of the selected candidate will be done by fee payment.

  8. Document verification: Verification of original documents will be made during admission.

Degree Wise Admission Process

D.Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy): The SVI College of Pharmacy and Research D.Pharma program is a full-time two-year program for students. An important line of foundation will be offered toward the field of pharmaceutical science study as prescribed under the D.Pharma program. Seats of admission for the D.Pharma program are approved these days, which makes for the satisfactory teacher-student relationship. Hence, personal-care exercises can be evolved through faculty in smaller groups, possibly with the one-student-one-faculty approach applied.

Admission to the D.Pharma is conducted based on the student's performance in the 10+2 examination, or in case the college conducts an admission test. Selection is, thus, aimed at students with a good background in science subjects, particularly Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics.
