M.Sc. Biochemistry is our brand-new programme started in 2022 considering the paucity of similar programmes in the vicinity and high demand from industries and academics. This fundamental programme offering various courses such as Enzymology, Metabolism, Metabolic and Genetic Engineering, Bioanalytical Techniques, Genomics, Bioinformatics, Structural Biology, Drug Discovery, and Biostatistics. The programme provides training on theoretical components of these subjects as well as excellent hands-on experience in the well-equipped laboratory. The programme incorporates Research Project as an integral component that provides an opportunity for the students to get trained in independently drafting a hypothesis, designing a research project, and performing laboratory experiments followed by data analysis coupled with an opportunity to publish.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduate in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects in the third year OR Graduate in Life Sciences/ Health Sciences/ Biotechnology/ any other Biological Science from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes)
