Tagore College of Pharmacy, Kanchipuram Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College Library, known as “INFORMATION CENTRE”, is located on the first floor of the College building in a clean and quiet atmosphere. The center is well furnished with wooden reading tables with separate lighting systems and comfortable chairs, journals & new arrival display racks, and one charging and discharging counter. The library has a huge collection of about 1800 books, pharmaceutical journals, encyclopedias, dictionaries, indexes, manuals, and periodicals of various pharmaceutical disciplines. It subscribes to more than 10 National and 10 International journals of Pharmacy.

The College has 10 laboratories belonging to Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacy Practice departments Computer lab, etc. The laboratories are well equipped with air ventilation facilities.

The college has one extension counter of the Punjab National Bank ATM Facility available for the students to help them with financial transactions.

An open auditorium and a multipurpose hall with about 300 seating capacities are available on the campus. This facility is being used for conducting Exams, various functions and meetings as well as indoor games.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has its fleet of vehicles for the transport of students from various locations of Chennai city and suburbs to the college premises to enable them to reach the college on time and also to return home comfortably. This arrangement helps them to maintain punctuality and also to have safe travel.

The college has separate blocks for girls, consisting of hostel buildings. Each block consists of a separate warden room, internet room, visitors' room, dining hall, etc.
