Tinsukia College, Tinsukia Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a girls' hostel attached to the college campus. It is a well-furnished hostel with all basic facilities. The boarding capacity of the hostel is 124, and the total number of vacant seats will be available after giving accommodation to old bonafied students. The seats are allotted to the students on the basis of their merit as well as the distance from their residence. The main purpose of the hostel is to cater to the needs of girls who hail from distant and remote areas of the Tinsukia district and neighbouring states of Arunachal Pradesh. 

The college Library, Tinsukia College, established in the year 1956, currently covers approximately an area of14000 sq.ft. Now it has more than 54,673 collections of books, including both textbooks and references, which are stacked in different sections of the library. The library is now a well-connected Internet facility through Wi-Fi. The library is updated with ICT. There are separate reading rooms for the teachers and students. The library is open from 09:00 AM to 4:00 PM on all working days. There is a conference hall with all modern amenities and a computer centre located at the central library. The library currently subscribes to 10 journals of National and International repute in various subject areas covering Arts, Commerce and Science disciplines. Further, the library has a book bank with almost 3000 books of different subjects, which is a great support for the poor and needy students. The library has a Xerox facility for both teachers and students on a payment basis. Students can download the earlier Question Paper from the library website. 

The College has provided a state-of-the-art central IT facility lab equipped with modern computers connected with LAN & Wi-Fi internet connection.

The College has an Auditorium Hall in the college where enable an audience to hear and watch performances at venues such as Annual Function, College Programmes, etc.

The College has provided, as part of the fitness drive, and facilitated toning of the whole body, a multistation fitness centre with Treadmill, Orbitrek, Wrist curl, Bicycle aerometer,  Vibrator, Cross over machine, etc., is available.
