United Institute of Pharmacy, Roorki Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

United Institute of Pharmacy, Roorki, is a fairly new establishment in the Indian pharmacy education system. It is a co-educational institute located in Pehladpur, Kurukshetra, Haryana, specializing in pharmacy education. In recent years, the admission process in United Institute of Pharmacy has become aimed at filtering out deserving candidates for their pharmaceutical education program.  Admissions are based on a merit list prepared by the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES), Roorkee. This process allows the brightest candidates to have their education at the institute. This also shows the dedication of the institute to ensure a healthy environment for learning with a small batch size and concerned professors: 6 in total.

Application Process

HSTES conducts all applications for admission into the D.Pharma program at United Institute of Pharmacy, Roorki. Admission applications are prepared stepwise:

1. Go to the official HSTES website and check for D.Pharma admission notification.

2. Sign up for an account on the HSTES portal, providing all required personal and academic information.

3. Complete the online application form for D.Pharma admissions. Make sure all information is correct and corroborates your educational documents.

4. Upload the necessary documents as per HSTES guidelines. These usually follow:

• 10th and 12th marksheets
• Proof of date of birth
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Domicile (for Haryana residents)
• One recent passport-sized photograph
• Scanned signature

5. Pay for the application in the manner prescribed by the HSTES.

6. Once the application has been successfully submitted, it is advisable to download and print the application form for future reference.

7. Wait for the merit list to be announced by HSTES, which usually will be based on the 12th standard marks in the concerned subjects.

8. If selected in the merit list, appear for the counseling on the announced time by the HSTES.

9. If given a seat to United Institute of Pharmacy, Roorki, join the institute for document verification and confirmation of admission within the stipulated period.

10. Complete all other admissions at the institute along with the payment of the course fee (Rs. 29,430 for D.Pharma).

Degree-wise Admission Process

D.Pharma: For now, United Institute of Pharmacy, Roorki offers only a full-time D.Pharma course. This two-year program is supposed to provide students good exposure to pharmacy sciences. The total D.Pharma program intake is 54 seats. Admission for this course is on the merit list provided by the HSTES.

Eligibility for D.Pharma normally includes:

1. Passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board
2. Subjects taken should be Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics
3. Minimum percentage as prescribed by the Pharmacy Council of India and HSTES
