The B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Hons.) with specialization in Cyber Security prepares our students to safeguard the digital world against complex cyber threats. The program is rooted in the fundamentals of computing while leveraging the advanced cyber defense techniques, ethical hacking, and digital forensics. In collaboration with Google Cloud, our students get to explore and deploy the components of a secure Google Cloud solution, including Cloud Identity, Resource Manager, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Virtual Private Cloud firewalls, Cloud Load Balancing, Direct Peering, Carrier Peering, Cloud Interconnect, and VPC Service Controls — all through hands-on experience. Additionally, our students are trained to manage data encryption using Customer-Managed Encryption Keys (CMEK) and Customer-Supplied Encryption Keys (CSEK), deploy and audit security configurations, use of tools like Secret Manager, Web Security Scanner, and Identity-Aware Proxy, and implement effective monitoring and auditing using platforms like Forseti and Cloud Logging. The joint program includes hands-on labs and real-world scenarios, encouraging students to apply their knowledge to solve contemporary security challenges.
