Master of Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc) in Veterinary Gynecology and Obstetrics is a full-time two-year postgraduate course offered by the Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, Bidar and Approved by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate Candidate shall possess a Bachelor’s degree in the respective subject.
The candidate shall have 6.00/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks for general category and 5.5/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks for SC/ST/Cat-I candidates at bachelor’s degree level.
The candidate shall be a citizen of India and must have studied in any educational institution in Karnataka State for a period of seven academic years at any time up to the Bachelor’s degree as on 1st July of the admission year. [Not applicable to candidates who are GOK, GOI, ICAR nominees, NRIs and Foreign Nationals (FN)]. The domicile requirement is not applicable for admission to Doctoral degree programme.
Admission Details
Selection for the Master's degree program will be done on the basis of the student’s performance in a bachelor degree program and written test conducted by the University. The written test for admission will be of undergraduate level and will contain 100 objective type questions with four responses. Due weightage is also given to the students who have the medals won in academics, sports and cultural activities, passed in ICAR/JRF examinations and those students who are Physically handicapped / Anglo-Indians / Scouts & Guides / Children of ExServicemen / Defense personnel.
