24 MonthsMaster of Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc) in Veterinary Pathology is a full-time two-year postgraduate course offered by the Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University, Bidar.
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate shall possess a Bachelor’s degree in the respective subject.
- The candidate shall have 6.00/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks for the general category and 5.5/10 or equivalent OGPA/equivalent percentage of marks for SC/ST/Cat-I candidates at the bachelor’s degree level.
- The candidate shall be a citizen of India and must have studied in any educational institution in Karnataka State for a period of seven academic years at any time up to the Bachelor’s degree as on 1st July of the admission year. [Not applicable to candidates who are GOK, GOI, ICAR nominees, NRIs, and Foreign Nationals (FN)]. The domicile requirement is not applicable for admission to the Doctoral degree programme.
Admission Details
Selection for the Master's degree program will be done on the basis of the student’s performance in a bachelor's degree program and a written test conducted by the University. The written test for admission will be at the undergraduate level and will contain 100 objective-type questions with four responses. Due weightage is also given to the students who have won medals in academics, sports, and cultural activities, passed in ICAR/JRF examinations, and those students who are physically handicapped / Anglo-Indians / Scouts & Guides / Children of Ex-Servicemen / Defense personnel.
