The Vidya Academy of Science and Technology—Technical Campus is a part of the Vidya International Charitable Trust (VICT). It is accredited by NAAC with a "B++" grade. The institution also offers various engineering courses approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is spread over an area of 18 acres of land. The Vidya Academy has 5 academic departments under its administration which offer education and training to the students aspiring to be engineers in their desired subject area.

Infrastructure facilities at the campus level have been incorporated to provide the best learning environment to students. The library, which is a lever for learning resources, contains 10080 volumes, including 2750 titles, besides a digital facility available over the intranet and e-journals. The IT infrastructure includes 317 computers and internet available at 40 Mbps. In this regard, the college offers a number of laboratories encompassing all the engineering branches to facilitate hands-on learning. The campus also features a large cafeteria to feed one hundred and fifty people with quality food at reasonable prices. Sport lovers will find it fantastic to use facilities in the Physical Education department, where the balance of education and sport is witnessed.

The Vidya Academy of Science and Technology offers B.Tech programs under 5 specializations such as Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering, etc. The college also has a later entry option in some of these programs: The approved intake for B.Tech programmes also differs: Computer Science & Engineering Intake 120, Civil Enrolments 60, Mechanical Enrolments 60, and Electronics & Telecommunication Enrolments 60.

Admission to Vidya Academy depends mainly on the students’ performance in the national and state-level entrance tests. Admissions to B.Tech programmes are open, and the same qualification and ranks in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) or Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination (KEAM) are mandatory for the candidates.
