The college has a canteen consisting of a massive and hygienic kitchen and dining area which can accommodate up to 150 persons at a time and offers high-quality food at very affordable rates to students and faculty members.

The college has library is well stocked with books related to engineering and technology; industry-related and general topics. The library follows open open-access system in which readers can browse books of their interest. It has the latest magazines, newspapers, national journals, reference books, and other reading material. The library also owns its digital setup available through Intranet and e-journal enabling students’ access to the knowledge world beyond geographical limits.

The College Book Collection exceeds 10080  volumes and 2750 Titles and continues to grow. The library aims to develop a comprehensive collection of documents useful for researchers, the faculty, and the student community.

Central Library is located in the East Block of the College. The operations of the library are fully computerized with the KOHA Library.

The college has a Physical Education at Vidya Academy of Science and Technology Technical Campus holds a unique position in sports and games, Established in 2013. The Department provides opportunities for students to participate in sports and games so as to make their stay on the college campus useful, purposeful, and enjoyable.

The college has 317 computers spanned across various laboratories, departments, and administrative offices, and they are connected to the Internet. The infrastructure incorporates both wired and wireless networks connecting all the building blocks of the college. The Institution has an Internet facility of 20 Mbps from Airtel (Leased Line) and 20 Mbps from Asianet (Broadband). The available bandwidth is 40Mbps.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college has a cooperative store that provides textbooks, engineering drawing equipment, and other stationery to students at concessional rates.

The college provides buses for students and faculty to commute from various locations. Buses from all important places within a radius of 50 Km are provided for days scholars.

The college has separate in-campus hostels provided for women with spacious, well-furnished rooms. Common rooms offer TV, games, music, telephone, reading, and internet facilities. Also provided are services of dining, laundry facilities, and 24-hour security.

The college has places a lot of emphasis on the training and placement requirements of the student community. There are many training programs that are schemed to enhance the capabilities of students in order to meet the expectations of the industry. During the second, third, and fourth years of engineering, one hour per week is dedicated to co-curricular activities with a special focus on placement-oriented training aimed at the overall development of the students. The students are provided an orientation and in-depth training in language skills, aptitude skills, personality, and soft skills. Apart from the general training, VAST TC also brings specialists and industry experts in order to motivate and enhance exposure.  Placement activities are aligned to meet the current challenges and emerging market scenarios. Active industry representations are solicited on a regular basis and in this connection; various forums are formed to extend the reach and interactions with the student community. With such activities, VAST TC was able to place 34 students from the very first batch as detailed separately  

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The Science Club was started at Vidya Academy of Science and Technology, Technical Campus, Thiruvananthapuram with an aim to invite many eminent scientists who could share their experience with the students and motivate them to new arenas of scientific knowledge.
