      Vivekanand Education Society's College of Law (VESCOL), is one of the premier institutions for legal education in Chembur, Mumbai. The VESCOL admission process follows a highly competitive and rigorous procedure that has been designed to select promising students for various law programmes. 

      The VESCOL admission process generally commences during the months following the MH CET Law. The main entrance exam that Vivekanand Education Society's College of Law accepts for undergraduate courses is MH CET Law, which takes place in March, usually, and varies according to dates each year. The date for this academic year will be on 19-20th March 2025.

      For the undergraduate programmes at VESCOL, the five-year integrated BLS LLB (Bachelor of Legal Science and Bachelor of Laws) and the three-year LLB course, admission is made based on qualifying for the MH CET Law examination. Scores in the MH CET Law examination form an important consideration in the process of VESCOL admission in order to determine students who have a strong aptitude for legal studies.

      Vivekanand Education Society's College of Law admissions for the two-year LLM programmes in Constitutional Law and Criminology are made separately, which may include consideration of the candidates' academic performance in their undergraduate law degree and other relevant criteria set by the University of Mumbai.

      Steps to apply for the course:

      • One needs to get registered and take the MH CET Law examination conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.
      • After results are declared in the MH CET Law examination, candidates eligible can apply to VESCOL through the CAP- centralised admission process conducted by the state.
      • Fill up the online application form through the official CAP portal. Fill in all the personal and academic details correctly.
      • Attach all documents whichever is necessary.
      • Pay the application fee fixed by the CAP authorities.
      • Counselling procedure includes the process of verification of documents and seat allocation upon MH CET rank in Law and other conditions.
      • The candidate will attend the final admission procedure from the college; this may comprise payment of dues and submitting papers for the allotted VESCOL.

      • Verification of notification on the official website of the University of Mumbai and VESCOL.
      • Download the application form from the college website or collect it from the college office.
      • Fill up the application form with all the correct details about your educational background and other required information.
      • Submit the completed application form along with all the necessary documents, including LLB degree certificate and mark sheets, graduation certificate, and other relevant certificates.
      • Pay the application fee as specified by the college.
      • Appear for any entrance test or interview, when conducted by the University of Mumbai or VESCOL, for the LLM programmes.
      • Complete the admission process, submit originals and pay all dues for admission in case selected.

      VESCOL, Mumbai Degree-wise Admission Process

      Vivekanand Education Society's College of Law (VESCOL), Mumbai, admits students based on their performance in the MH CET Law examination for undergraduate courses, followed by CAP counselling and document verification. Postgraduate LLM admissions are conducted as per University of Mumbai guidelines, considering academic performance and any entrance test or interview if applicable.

      VESCOL offers a five-year integrated BLS LLB. Admission to the programme is based on merit in the MH CET Law exam. The candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognised board are eligible for admission. Counselling and seat allotment are the criteria for admission.

      VESCOL, Mumbai LLB Admission Process

      The three-year LLB programme is similar to the BLS LLB programme in terms of the admission process. Candidates need to qualify in the MH CET Law examination. This programme is for graduates from any discipline who want to pursue a career in law.

      VESCOL, Mumbai LLM in Constitutional Law  Admission Process

      The VESCOL offers an LLM in Constitutional Law with a total intake of 30 seats in two years. VESCOL admission to the course is carried out strictly following the guidelines by the University of Mumbai, whereby admission can also be made strictly on the performance of the candidates in their LLB degree, along with other similar criteria.

      VESCOL, Mumbai LLM Criminal Law and Criminal Administration Admission Process

      The two-year programme of LLM Criminal Law and Criminal Administration has an intake of 30 seats. The VESCOL admission process is as per the guidelines of the University of Mumbai for postgraduate law admissions.

      VESCOL Admission Documents Required

      • MH CET Law score card at the time of getting admission into BLS LLB or LLB
      • Mark sheets and pass certificates of 10th and 12th
      • Mark sheets of graduation, along with the degree certificate in case of LLB and LLM
      • Migration certificate, in case applicable
      • Domicile certificate, if necessary
      • Category certificate for the candidates who come under the reserved categories
      • Passport-size recent photographs
      • Any other document that the college or university has asked for at the time of admission

      Academics

      The teachers explain in detail and are very nice and they're pretty interactive with the students, the teaching quality is definitely 9/10, as I am studying LAW it is definitely preparing me for my job

      College Infra

      The classroom in A wing are really good, the speaker quality is nice, there's proper mic as well and there's AC in every classroom, the library is also very nice and many students go there, the place is quite clean as well

      Campus Life

      It is quite nice to get educated with interactive teachers who are willing to do one on one when we have doubts as well as the environment is pretty nice and the students are well behaved, the facilities are good too

      Placements

      It was pretty easy for me to get in the college and the fees in general is somewhat 23-25k per year which I think is affordable for law colleges, the college was quite supportive about it and did everything professionally

      Per year cost was 23-25k and I feel like it is worth it considering the amount of facilities we have as well as the good professors

      Professors are really good and efficient with their work they help students with everything they can some professors are really empathetic with students like Reshma mam and Jayshree mam who doesn't put unnecessary pressure on student

      College Infra

      Really good infrastructure with every facility available including good washrooms and common girls room and AC's that actually work so it's efficient for students and library is really good as well with books available most of the time and sitting area is also good ....the library has E-library as well for students to get access to computers in college

      Campus Life

      Campus is good as well and canteens are available with good sitting arrangement and places to sit around the campus is also available... stationery and Print out and Xerox services are available inside the college.....buses are available directly from kurla station that drop you two minutes away from the college in walking distance

      Placements

      Placements are fine with them offering internships every 2-3 weeks to the student the professors also listen to students and their requirements regarding placements for internship and give different opportunities to students

      Value For Money

      The fees they take is a little expensive but the services are really good so it's not a big issue all the services are available within the campus the professors are nice so the fees isn't that expensive with all these facilities
