WIT Dehradun: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Women Institute of Technology (WIT), Dehradun is a campus institute of Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun was established in 2012. WIT Dehradun with the approval of the state government and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is the first women-only engineering institute in the state of Uttarakhand. WIT Dehradun campus is spread over 20 acres of land. WIT offers courses in the engineering domain only. In order to get shortlisted for the WIT Dehradun courses, candidates are required to match the required eligibility criteria. Apart from that candidates should have a valid scorecard of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains).

WIT Dehradun admission is based on candidates’ performance in past academics and in the required entrance test. The course duration of all the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) specializations are same. WIT Dehradun has its own training and placement cell to organize campus placement and provides training to its students so that they can get easily placed in the top companies. WIT Dehradun offers all the necessary facilities to its students which include girls hostel, medical/ hospital facilities, library, sports, IT infrastructure, cafeteria, and much more.

WIT Dehradun address is Chandanwadi, Prem Nagar, Sudhowala, Uttarakhand 248007. Jollygrant Airport is the nearest one which is about 25 km away from the college campus. One can also take a train route to reach the WIT campus, for candidates have to board at Dehradun railway station which is only 11 km away from the WIT campus. Form railway station and airport public transport facility are available so that one can reach the college campus conveniently.
