Yashavantrao Chavan Institute of science is a well reputed collage providing education from 11 th till post graduation.Collage have courses covering multiple domains.All laboratories are well equiped .

I am there from 11 th till BSC .Many of my friends perceiving masters from the same. It is an Autonomous collage affiliated to Shivaji University Kolhapur and run and administered by Rayat Shikshan Sanstha.

Various programmes are run by the collage to provide corporate knowledge during academic. workshops are conducted to introduce students to corporate world.Various training and development sessions are arranged.

Collage is really good. Considering overall level of teaching, facilities , infrastructure the fee is not too high.If you thinking for real competitive environment then it's a right place to strengthen yourself .

Collage campus is nice . comprising of cafeteria,botanical garden,swimming pool, playgrounds, library,leasure place,library, separate laboratories study room, etc. Collage have NSS and NCC programmes .

The campus in our college was digitalised. Every classroom is under CCTV camera surveillance.he classroom and libraries were very good. The quality of food was good. Medicine was average in the hostel. Sports and games had a high level of teams and faculty members that run this department. It provides a playground where basketball and volleyball were played. All the subject labs are available in the college. There is a huge library. The classrooms are clean and comfortable for students.

All the teachers in my department were knowledgeable and highly qualified. My personal experience with the teachers was great; they helped me. Not too strict but not too loose either. Assignments, practicals, completion—everything was considered at the end of the semester.

placement - I would give the placements section of this college a rating of 3 stars because they have excellent plans and promotions for job opportunities. However, M.Sc students don't have many placement options in this college. I believe there is room for improvement in the college's placement cell.Placements aren't very good and the packages offered range between 1 to 5 LPA. As compared to the number of students, the placements available are very low so not every student can get placement
