What is Avionics

Avionics refers to the electronic systems used inside air-based crafts such as aircraft, satellites, spacecraft, and other kinds of craft. Various electronic systems are used inside the craft, such as systems for communication, navigation, display, and many other essential systems.

Students who are interested in this field or are willing to make a career in this field can pursue a specialised course known as Avionics Engineering. Avionics is a part of the engineering field and to be more specific; it is an integral part of Aeronautics engineering. In India, some various colleges and universities provide specialised engineering courses in this field. Just like any other engineering field, students must be from a science background with subjects such as physics, chemistry, and mathematics as their core subjects. Students can pursue both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the Avionics field.
