At Undergraduate Level:
Candidates should have completed their Senior Secondary (10 + 2) level of education from a recognised board or institution.
Candidates should have passed the entrance exam and should have scored according to the cut-off marks of a particular college or university.
At Postgraduate Level:
Candidates should have completed their Higher and Senior Secondary (10 + 2) level of education from a recognised board or institution.
Candidates should have scored a minimum of 60% aggregate in their 10th and 12th class.
Candidates also should have completed and secured a minimum of 50% aggregate in their Bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering, and electrical sciences.
Entrance Exams for Avionics
At Undergraduate Level
Students can pursue Avionics at an undergraduate level by pursuing a Bachelor's degree like B.Tech in Avionics as the specialisation. Just like other Bachelor's degree engineering courses, B.Tech in avionics is also a 4-year course.
Students are provided with an in-depth knowledge of electrical and electronic systems. During this course, various subjects of the avionics field are taught to the students, and the entire syllabus is divided into 8 semesters.

BITSAT, also known as the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test, is an online entrance exam which is conducted online.

Students can go for pursuing Avionics at a postgraduate level by pursuing a master's degree like M.Tech with avionics as the specialisation. Just like other master's degree engineering courses, M.Tech in avionics is also a 2-year course.
