Since aligarh Muslim university is Muslim minority college, there are chances of getting seat for your rank. Getting seat in government college is difficult, If not you wil surely get medical seat in some college under state rank.

Cut off changes every year. If you just want to get into AMU,you need to score at least 40,if you are an external student means you didn't do your 10+2 from Amu.

Your chances looks fairly good as your score is 46.

The cut off marks for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering at Aligarh Muslim University is in between 85 - 90 marks.
