There is yet another 5% reservation for people who have served in rural areas fr a specified amount of time or worked under Family Welfare Programme,
You can visit https://www.aiims.edu/aiims/academic/md-ms/MD-JULY.htm#:~:text=RESERVATION%20OF%20SEATS&text=As%20per%20the%20Interim%20Orders,students%20to%20MD%2FMS%20courses. for more details.
Greetings,
advantages:
- the AIIMS tag and reputation for life
- better infrastructure and possibly better facilities
- fees difference
disadvantages:
- faculty not as well established
- not much in the name of student culture in new colleges
- Not many great mentors, good opportunities to learn
- probably a very new research culture
If you want to go for better academics and better mentors, go for an already well established college, if you want the AIIMS repute, better facilities for the next 5 years and an outside experience for once then go for the new college.
good luck

there are three different messes in AIIMS RISHIKESH and candidates are alloted messes on the basis of bstch distribution, however you can change your mess anytime. Also, mess charges depends on how much you eat. Breakfast meal costs around 25rs and dinner and lunch may vary from 40-70 depending upon chicken and paneer. On an average it costs around 4000 per month. and the hostel fee permonth might cost upto 3-4000, including electricity, gym , pot charges.

Hello Aspirant,
See it is quite difficult to predict your admission chances in AIIMS Jammu or any of the AIIMS because this is the very first time when AIIMS is accepting admission through NEET score and therefore the is no previous year's data on the basis of which we can predict your chances of admission.
But AIIMS being the national level government medical college will require at least 590 or more marks out of total 720 marks in NEET for EWS category, so on such marks you don't have good chances of getting a seat in AIIMS Jammu.
However you can try for some private college in Jammu & Kashmir such as Institute of Dental Sciences, Sehora, Jammu or you can try for management quota seat through direct admission provided that you must have appeared in NEET Counselling and unable to secure any seat through it.
To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!

AIIMS Guwahati is still a much newer institute with the hospital yet to function in full capacity by 2021. Only advantage AIIMS Guwahati has over NDMC, is that you can be assured of recruitment by the same institute after passing out of MBBS Class.
Whereas NDMC Delhi, had been founded in 2013, as a part of the Hindu Rao Hospital. The institute has good infrastructure, faculty and facilities. So I would suggest you to choose the institute which is at a vicinity of you hometown, as both the institutes are comparable and have their own share of pros and cons.
