Hello Aspirant,
Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) is an entrance test to recruit nursing officers in AIIMS all over the country. NORCET is divided into 2 sets of examination. One is Prelims, where a candidate have to answer 100 questions in 90 minutes. Remember that these questions will be nursing (80 Questions) and non-nursing (20 Questions) related. Non- nursing questions would be on General Awareness, Aptitude questions and current affairs as well.
Candidates clearing the prelim stage, will move forward to appear in Main Exam, which will also have 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), divided into 5 sections like Prelim exam. In Main exam, all the question will be nursing related to test you and there is negative marking- one-third marks deduction on a wrong answer.
As per the pattern of both the exams, the key to crack NORCET is to study theoretically and practically. Your non-nursing skills and knowledge will be an important part. Never miss current affairs. Revise again and again.
I hope you will do good.
Good luck!
