Hello
it is the first time ever when AIIMS are conducting admission through neet examination so predicting cut off marks is quite difficult for Aiims
Also,
cut off marks will depend upon various factors like kind of marks obtained by students in the examination , toughness level of the neet examination etc and AIIMS will be providing admission through all India quota for which cutoff marks goes high
keeping these things in mind you should target at least around 630-640 marks at least in your neet examination if you want to get a seat in Aiims jodhpur if you belong to sc category
Thank you
Sumana, from 2020, NEET will be the entrance examination for admission to all of AIIMS MBBS seats. There is no more AIIMS MBBS entrance examination from this year. To be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. And NEET will be held for 720 marks. There will 45 MCQs from Physics, 45 MCQs from Chemistry and 90 MCQs from Biology at 12th level.
Hello student admission is on the basis of marks obtained in entrance examination only so you need to clear the cut off of the medical college you're concerned about. If you clear the cut off you can get admission.
Cut off vary every year on various factors like the level of question in the entrance examination and total number of applicants in that examination.
Eligibility - Candidates must passed or appearing class 12 with physics chemistry and biology with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognized board.
Feel free to comment if you have any doubt
Good luck
Dear Aspirant,
All India Institute of Medical Science is the top ranked institute in the National Institute of Ranking Framework (NIRF)’s Medical classification. Hence it automatically attracts top rankers into all their courses.
AIIMS has a total of 657 seats and currently a rank of below 2200 and a minimum percentile of 93 only stands a fair chance of getting called for a counseling session. Since the results have been announced please check the following link to understand your status: https://www.aiimsexams.org/pdf/COUNSEL1_Rank_Wise-FINAL-NET.pdf
Good Luck
In 2019, under All India Quota, the cut off ranks and marks for the Colleges that you requested for under OBC Category have been as follows:
MAMC: 148
VMMC:357
UCMS:374
KGMU: 557-613 (Score)
IP BHU:1097
Except for KGMU, the rest of them are the ranks. So to roughly translate them for a seat in any of these Colleges, you need more than 650 even with OBC reservation. This is because cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Merging of AIIMS and JIPMER with NEET doesn't lower the cut offs. If both these colleges bring a total of 1700 seats, there are atleast 2 lakhs more students who appear for NEET every year.

In 2019, under State quota, 615 marks secured a seat in MAMC under State Quota. This is 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam.
Regarding the OBC 40% criteria, that is the eligiblity to meet NEET qualifications. NEET is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS,BDS, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India.
Hello,
Please mention the course that you want to know. There are various courses offered in AIIMS and the eligibility criteria will differ. So if you can help us with the course we can help you accordingly.
You haven't mentioned your Category. This is the first year that AIIMS will be conducting its admission to all of its 1500 seats through All India Quota. Now all this while, AIIMS conducted its own exam and the total marks was for 200 while NEET is for 720. While AIIMS released its results in the form of percentiles, NEET releases its results in the form of marks. And unlike NEET which has only Physics, Chemistry and Biology, AIIMS had GK and English sections. And usually AIIMS has cut offs above 98.75 for General Category, 97 for OBC and 94 for SC/ST . Now if we roughly translate that out of 720, it is approximately 675-700 for General Category, 625 for OBC and 575-600 for SC/ST. Now there are approximately 1500 MBBS seats available for AIIMS. And you haven't mentioned your Category. So if you belong to General Category, you will need 650 and more. And for reserved Categories, you will need 600 and more again depending on the branch of AIIMS. But we have to tell you that Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. To help you with your NEET preparation, we have NEET Knockout packages that you can check at: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/. Hello,
There is no chance to change it now. for this reason, it is advised to fill the form carefully and verify it multiple times before submitting.
You can go through the counselling process for general category. You have good rank and can get good medical college campus.
if you don't find option suitable in counselling process then You can try next year with more preparation and correctly filling the form.
Hope it helps!
