Hello aspirant
A professor is paid RS 23 lakh on initial appointment and total figure comes around RS 34.81 lakh per annum using CTC ( cost to company ) method.
The study carried out in 2017, showed that the international trips for attending conferences, the office maintenance and paying the secretarial staff constitute almost 30-40 % of the annual salary. AIIMS professors and additional professors are entitled to attend one International conference every year and associate professor and assistant professors get this opportunity once in two years.
Sobana, , All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER are filled by DGHS. Now this is the firs time that AIIMS and JIPMER are conducting their admissions through NEET score and the admissions will happen through All India Counselling. And All India Counselling happens in 2 rounds and a Mop up round. AIIMS and JIPMER will not fall under Mop up round probably and so ideally the seats will be filled through Round 1 and Round 2. Once NTA releases NEET results and the Merit list is released, the DGHS on behalf of the MCI will release the counselling process. And you have to register for Counselling process by paying refundable and non refundable fees. The fees will be conveyed at that point in time. Once you fill in the registration application, the choice filling and locking option also will open up. You can fill as many options as you want and here is where you need to select AIIMS. The seats are allotted on the basis of merit and preference. This is where you ensure you pick the right choices in the right manner. To help you during admission and counselling, we have https://www.careers360.com/mbbs-companion . You have to make sure you lock your choices after filling them up. Or else the server will lock them for you. Once the seat has been allotted to you after 1st Round, you can either opt to accept the seat or go for a free exit option. If you choose Free Exit option, you will not be penalised for opting out of the seat. You can also go for upgrading for Round 2 if you are not satisfied with the seat in Round 1. And then you can also apply for Round 2 and the process is the same. For more information like flow chart, please refer our article: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-counselling
Dear Aspirant,
All India Institute of Medical Science is the top ranked institute in the National Institute of Ranking Framework (NIRF)’s Medical classification. Hence it automatically attracts top rankers into all their courses.
AIIMS has a total of around 1200 and 15 Lakh student wrote this exam, which boils down to below 1% eligibility, so ideally you have to achieve above 650 marks to stake a claim for a counseling session.
Good Luck
Now AIIMS also will conduct its admission through NEET scores. To help you with your NEET preparation, we have NEET Knockout packages that you can check at: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/.

Hello student cut off vary every vary every vary every year on various factors like the level of question in the entrance examination and total number of applicants in that examination. Onwards this year admission in AIIMS is through NEET entrance examination for MBBS course so it's difficult to predict exact cut off but as AIIMS Delhi is aspirants first choice you need to be in top 100-200ranks as we all know that seats are very limited and admission is directly based on merit rank.
Feel free to comment if you have any doubt
Good luck
AIIMS Nagpur has a total seat intake of 100 for its MBBS Programme. And like all other branches, AIIMS Nagpur also will conduct its admission on the basis of NEET score through All India Counselling. In 2018, the cut offs for various Categories for AIIMS Nagpur have been as follows:
General Category: 99.65
OBC: 99.43
SC: 96.39
ST: 93.68
Now AIIMS exam pattern and marking scheme are different from than that of NEET. While AIIMS MBBS was conducted for 200 marks and also included English and GK sections while NEET is conducted for 720 marks and only in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Now AIIMS releases its results in the form of percentiles while NEET releases its score in the form of marks. So going by this, if you belong to General/OBC Category, you will need more than 650 marks approximately and if you belong to Reserved Categories, you will need more than 575. This is an estimated cut off, And cut offs might change depending on various factors. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. To help you with your NEET preparation, we have NEET Knockout packages that you can check at: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/. AIIMS will conduct admissions based on NEET score through All India Counselling and so the NEET criteria also apply to AIIMS. So to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th.
