Hello student as this is the first year and so it's not fair to predict things the cut offs may rise and fall. So we should wait and just try to score as much as you can as both of  the college you mentioned are prestigious college. As we all know that seats are very limited and admission is directly based on merit rank

Feel free to comment if you have any doubt

Good luck

Hello there!
Greetings!

There's one thing which we need to remember that it is aiims and Jipmer that have been scrapped off and not the neet examination, the paper pattern of neet, neet syllabus etc is still the same the only thing is that now admission to all the aiims and Jipmer will through neet examination as well. And other than this ,everything is still same including neet syllabus and its question paper pattern  .

You can check the neet paper pattern below :-

  • In your Neet 2020 examination , you will have 180 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology . 45 questions will be from Physics, 45 questions from Chemistry, and 90 questions will be from your biology.

  • 4 marks will be awarded to you for every correct answer and there is negative marking of one mark for every wrong answer.

Always feel free to reach us and ask your doubts.

Thankyou

Thakur, now that it is official that AIIMS will no more conduct its entrance exam and NEET score is applicable  for AIIMS as well, we need to see how the admission process would be done. DGHS will conduct admissions to AIIMS on behalf of NMC through All India Counselling. Now if you look at other Institutions like BHU, AFMC, etc, they release their own merit list once interested Candidates apply for their admissions. And Candidates should register at MCC website when the dates are released. AIIMS may also release its own online application forms. So at this point in time, we have to wait to hear from AIIMS.

Nihal, AIIMS will conduct admission for all its MBBS seats through NEET score. This has been official. Now AIIMS offers many courses like MBBS, PG, B.Sc Nursing, etc. So the basic registration might be for any of those courses. If you go to the official website of AIIMS, it doesn't have any Basic registration process for AIIMS MBBS. Admissions to AIIMS MBBS seats will be done through All India Counselling conducted by the DGHS on behalf of the NMC.

Dear Shikha, yes it's true that the admission in government Medical colleges will be done on the basis of NEET scores. From this year AIIMS and JIPMER has been scrapped off. So there won't be any individual entrance exams for admission in these colleges. Both of them has been merged to NEET.

So, NEET score is the deciding factor for every government college.

All the best

Hope this helps

Since it is NTA that is conducting the exam and not AIIMS, ther e would be only questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. So if you want to practise AIIMS previous papers, skip Logical reasoning and English and focus solely on Physics, Chemistry and Biology sections.
