Academics
I’m pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at BIT Mesra because I’ve always been interested in coding, technology, and problem-solving. The academic environment here is quite strong — most of the professors are well-qualified and approachable. They focus not just on theory but also on practical understanding through labs, projects, and assignments. The curriculum is updated regularly to match current industry trends like AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science. We also get chances to work on research papers and coding competitions, which help us learn beyond textbooks. The exams are fair, and the grading is transparent. Overall, what we study actually helps us become job-ready, especially with the amount of hands-on learning and exposure we get here.
College Infra
BIT Mesra has really good infrastructure and facilities that make college life comfortable and productive. The classrooms are clean, spacious, and have projectors for better learning. Labs are fully equipped with modern instruments, and everything is well maintained so practical work never feels like a hassle. The library is huge — it’s a peaceful place to study with thousands of books and online resources. Sports facilities are great too; we have grounds for cricket, football, basketball, and even indoor games and a gym. Hostels are neat and the rooms are decent in size with good Wi-Fi. The food in the mess is hygienic and better than what you’d expect in most colleges. The campus overall is very green and pleasant, and there’s a medical center available for any emergencies. It honestly feels like everything a student might need is already here.
Campus Life
Campus life at BIT Mesra is honestly one of the best things about the college. The campus is huge, green, and peaceful — it almost feels like living in a mini city away from the noise of the outside world. There are plenty of activities for students, from technical clubs and cultural fests to sports tournaments and hackathons. The annual fest BITOTSAV is one of the most exciting events where students from different colleges participate. Teachers are supportive and friendly, and the seniors are also very helpful, especially when it comes to academics and placements. The support staff keeps the campus clean and well maintained. It’s located a bit away from the main city, but that adds to its calm and safe environment. The campus has proper security, a 24×7 medical center, and emergency facilities, so safety is never a concern. Overall, life at BIT Mesra is balanced, lively, and full of opportunities — you make memories here that stay with you forever.
Placements
I’m not yet placed, but many of my seniors and friends have received offers from top companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and LinkedIn. The overall placement scenario at BIT Mesra is really good, especially for core and CS-related branches. The highest package usually goes to CSE students, crossing around 50+ LPA, while the average package for most branches stays between 8–12 LPA. Many well-known companies such as Deloitte, Infosys, TCS, and PwC also visit the campus every year. The placement process is quite smooth — the Training and Placement Cell is very active and supportive throughout, helping with mock interviews, aptitude tests, and resume guidance. Even though I’m still preparing, seeing my batchmates and seniors get placed in top companies is really motivating. It feels like with the right effort, BIT gives you all the opportunities you need to land a good job.
Value For Money
When I joined BIT Mesra, the total course fee was around 17 lakh, though it has increased a bit now. Honestly, it does feel like I’m getting my money’s worth because the college provides excellent infrastructure, experienced faculty, strong placement support, and great exposure overall. The environment here really pushes you to learn, grow, and explore new opportunities — whether it’s academics, projects, or internships. The quality of education and campus life justifies the fee to a large extent. Considering the kind of placements and learning experience students get, I’d say it’s definitely a good return on investment for anyone serious about their career.

Academics
The quality of teaching colleges is best. Teachers are strict and kind towards the students. Assignments and project work are given to the students. In this college, teachers focus on practical work more than theory work.
College Infra
BIT College is the best college I ever study. College infiltration is very good. All types of facilities are available. Libraries, classrooms, laboratories, sports ground, gym are available for the students.
Placements
The quality of placement in the college is good. Up to 60 to 70% student get placed in good company or average company. The highest charity package offered by the company is 6LPA. The policeman process is not too easy not too tough.

Academic at BIT patna Is average.faculty department Rather than CSE are Arrogant.Academics at BIT Patna are strong with a structured curriculum, experienced faculty, regular classes, and emphasis on practical learning through labs, projects, and workshops
College Infra
College infrastructure is not upto the mark as it should be in Btech Colleges. The Buildings are once made and never looked back.Only Good thing is Library .BIT Patna offers modern infrastructure with well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, a central library, Wi-Fi campus, hostels, and sports facilities, providing a good learning environment. No Campus life,only 25 Acre campus with one ground Having everything there like cricket pitch, Badminton court, volleyball court and football Ground.It create mess.Campus life at BIT Patna is active with tech fests, cultural events, student clubs, sports, and hostel life. Average placement Every year with Average being around 6-7LPA .Hightes CTC goes upto 34LPA and lowest 3LPA.BIT Patna offers decent placements, especially in CSE and IT, with companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro visiting. Average package is around 4–6 LPA with good internship opportunities
Value For Money
Not Value for money,Main Campus is far better than this one.BIT Patna offers good value for money with quality education, decent placements, and low fees compared to private colleges, making it a worthwhile choice for engineering students.

No, it will not cause any problem if your father's name in your aadhar card and 10th marksheet is a bit different if your own name is correct and matches everywhere.
Just keep both the documents and if require, a short affidavit which says both names are of your father's only.
