Academics
The overall syllabus is not updated .but the professors teaches the required things to be relevant to get jobs.
They are updating the syllabus constantly,tho it is slow. Computer science branch is updated and doing real great
College Infra
BIT Mesra features a massive, green 780-acre campus. The main building and central library are well-equipped. It has lots of books.
However, the hostel infrastructure is quite old. Many rooms require urgent renovation and better maintenance. Campus Wi-Fi connectivity is not that reliable . While some labs have modern apparatus, others use outdated equipment. The sports facilities are decent, but mess food is unpredictable.
Campus Life
Lots of trees , and the environment is great compared to the city . Air quality is breathable, and overall shops has everything which is needed. The fest , and event are always happening one after another.
Placements
Core branches is not doing that well but if you are from cs the quality and ctc is good and I my opinion it is one of the best. As a core student the compitition is high of the placement if you are doing good a academics getting a job is easy.
Value For Money
If you are doing cs then it is really good choice other than cs other branches are not that value for money as the fees of each semester is very high .
But if you are interested in doing lab more than just studying.then it is Highly recommended then the equipment covers the value .

Academics
I am studying in electronics and communication engineering because i love working with embedded systems, microcontroller, and chip design(vlsi).The curriculum itself is well-updated, covering modern trends like IOT and advanced digital design.
College Infra
Our campus has great infrastructure. The ECE and core engineering labs are well-eqipped with modern development tools and hardware set up.the classroomm are spacious and fully air-conditioned, and the campus Wi-Fi is consistency fast and dependable. The library has an excellent technical collection
Campus Life
Our college campus has fantastic vibe, mostly thanks to its incredible greenery. The environment is very peaceful. And the technical facilities-especially the well equipped las and massive central library are the top tier. The worst part is campus is lo large so walking between the hostels and academic block, and the labs get prettanyy tiring.
Placements
Placement are consistently excellent , particularly for tech and core branches like ECE . Roughly 85% to 90% of eligible students get placed every year . TOP tier semiconductor and tech companies visit regularly , with average package around 10 -12 LPA and highest offers soaring much higher.
Value For Money
The course costs around 3.5 to 4 lakhs per year. Honestly I do feel like I am getting my moneys worth. Between the well-equipped labs for hands-on VLSIB and embedded system work, the air conditioned classrooms and the strong placement record with top tech and core companies.

Academics
The quality of teaching is generally good, with faculty member having strong academic backgrounds and being approachable when students need guidance.
The course structure helps students build both theoretical understanding and problem-solving abilities.
College Infra
The college has most of the essential infrastructure required for academics and studies life. Classroom are adequately equipped, laboratories have the necessary equipment for practical learning.
Hostel and sports facilities are satisfactory and meet basic student needs.
Campus Life
The college campus provides a pleasant academic environment with adequate facilities for both learning and extracurricular activities. Overall, the campus life is balanced, allowing student to focus on academics while also engaging in personal and professional development.
Placements
The placement scenario for M.tech students is average. the number of companies do visit the campus and some students secure good opportunities.
The placement cell provides support through training sessions and recruitment activities.
Value For Money
The annual fee for M.Tech program is reasonable compared to many other private institutions offering similar courses.

Taking a drop after scoring 330 marks is a viable option, provided you address your distractions. Transitioning to offline coaching is an excellent strategy, as it provides a structured environment, peer competition, and removes the easy temptations of online distractions like social media.

With JEE main rank of around 1,37,000 OBC category and Jharkhand home state quota getting CSE at BITS sindhari maybe difficult based on previous year closing is one of the most sought-after branches. ECE may be also competitive, but you may have better chance compared to CSE specially
