A Bright College

Batch of 2018 | B.Tech Instrumentation and Control Engineering
NIT Jalandhar has a beautiful campus away from the hustle of the city. Almost everyone can vouch for the well kept campus. The departments are well equipped with laboratories required for the curriculum. Every department has a mix of permanent and ad-hoc faculties. Each department has few great professors who are instrumental in shaping up the future careers. The research culture is overall weak. However, some departments have nurtured research culture and provide decent opportunities.

A bright and growing college

The college has a good infrastructure and it is still developing. New Student Activity Centre and other lecture theatres construction have been almost completed. There are some things that are missing like a flood lit stadium and swimming pool. Some more lecture theatres are needed because first year is still being taught in the old 90's lecture theatres. Otherwise, the college is good with nice with good industry exposure and fine placements for all branches in good companies. Seniors are also very good and frank in nature.
