Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering is full time four year course degree offered by Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology Shibpur.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Details

Each eligible candidate shall be required to appear and to qualify at a written test (JEE Main) conducted by the CBSE. However, this is not mandatory for the foreign students.

College Infrastructure

Our college is second oldest engineering college in our country. All classroom is well maintained, hostel facility is good, wifi facility is good, mess food is also good, 4 canteen inside the campus, sports facility is very good, 2 big sports ground inside the campus.

College Infrastructure

Yes, our college have good infrastructure, all facility is provided by the college. In laboratories you find all equipment's are there, classroom is very good, two big sports ground as well in our campus. Hostel facility is good, mess food is average. $ canteen inside the campus.

College Infrastructure

infrastructure of our college is good, all equipment's are provided by the college like in hostels, tables, almirah are proved. Classroom is also well maintained. In Library you find different books and also Wi-Fi is also across the all over the hostels and classroom. Mess food is also good in our hostels, 4 canteen is also there in our campus.
