How is IIIT Srirangam(Trichy) in terms of academics and placements? I am not able to find its placement stats anywhere.

Hi Sahil,

Though IIITs are generally good and are a brand name in India, the case with IIIT Trichy is a different story. It was established in 2013 and they still do not have a permanent campus. Currently it is running in NIT Trichy and even the faculty is shared.

Actually the offical cutoff is still not yet released but I can say the chances for getting iiit trichy with your background is somewhat you can except the iiit but it depends upon competition

You can got admission iiit Trichy ,but not in Jossa counselling you have to take a chance in spot round, although you have very low chance.previos year I have done a counselling of a student who got crl rank 95000 but in spot round counselling he got NIT Mizoram with

With your mentioned rank it is highly unlikely for you to get into NITs. You could still apply for the josaa counselling process and try your luck. But I would suggest you to try for state level engineering colleges which accept JEE main scores. You could get good

College Infrastructure

College has necessary infrastructure facilities and equipments for the students according to requirements. Classrooms has smart boards ,projector facilities, laboratories are well - maintained ,wifi facility is available is college ,mess area , hostel also. Cleanliness is also maintained in hostel , mess etc. Food is highly hygienic.

IIIT Trichy is awesome, Have an eye to grab opportunities!

College Infrastructure

We are currently using Nit Trichy as our host college, For hostel one needs to commute from another college hostel which is 25 km away or have your own rental room nearby. One can still use other facilities by Nit except hostel.
