What are the kind of interview questions asked in IIM L & IIM K?

Hi Sayantan! As per the experiences shared by students of IIMs, especially Lucknow and Kozhikode, the interviews are generally conversation based. The initial questions are about introducing yourself, why you want to pursue MBA, why do you want to join this particular institute etc. Your answers will direct the interview further. Questions will also be asked based on your profile, such as your graduation subject, work experience (if applicable), hobbies, current affairs etc. The common questions at IIM interviews are as follows:

Tell us about yourself
What is the meaning of your name? (Typically used as an ice breaker and if you have an uncommon name)
Why do you wish to do an MBA?
What are your plans after an MBA?
How will your MBA support your goal?
How does your academic background relate to your goal?
What are your strengths, give examples?
What are your weaknesses, give examples?
What are your short-term long term goals?
Elaborate on your work experience.
How relevant is your experience?
Why do you want to join a particular institute?
Which specialisation do you want to opt for?
What are your hobbies/interests? (Technical questions on the same)

The other topics which are common in PI include the following:

Current affairs – Politics, Economics, Business, Social events, demographics, Sports, Literature, Entertainment, Awards and Recognition

Dates for interview in iim kozhikode and iim indore

There are no fixed dates for interviews of any IIMs. Dates varies according to your interview location. If you have selected interview location as Delhi than your interview will be held only when the professors team must be coming to Delhi to take interview with 3-4 days slot. Again these slots depends on the number of candidates needs to be interviewed in that city.

This whole process of interview starts from the end of January month to the March month. And there is no benefit of having an interview way or late because in the end with the weightages of all the parameters a final merit list will be made after all interviews have been taken. And then the admission process will start.

If you have been shortlisted for second round of interview and WSAT then you would have also got the mail regarding the date of interview and the venue of your interview. This happens individually so keep checking for the results and your personal mail for further information.

College Infrastructure

IIMK has a wide campus with modern facilities for the interactive learning of students. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, hostel, sports, medical, etc., facilities were available for the students. The quality of the offered facilities was good. The quality of the hostel facilities was also good enough.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of IIMK was well maintained and developed. Facilities offered to our course students were good enough. For the students' academics and knowledge development, various modern facilities such as the library, computer labs, Wi-Fi, projectors, etc. were provided here in the college. Hostel facility was available for the students. All the facilities of the college were of good quality. Multiple sports facilities were available in the college for the students.
