Basically admission in IGNOU takes place in January and July cycle, now last year due to covid pandemic the admission process for July 2020 session ended in the month of December, on the other hand the usual schedule of January Cycle application form commence from December onwards which have not happened due to this pandemic and this has further resulted in delayed process for further cycle of admission for 2021, so far the admission schedule of January cycle of this year hasn't been announced, stay updated at the official website at ignou.ac.in for latest updates regarding this.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University is an outstanding university which offers several courses through open and distance learning.

IGNOU's Doctoral Degree in management programmes is offered by the School of Management Studies.

In order to take admission in IGNOU to pursue PhD in Management you must have an M Phil degree/ a masters degree in a relevant discipline with minimum 55 percent marks (50 percent marks for SC/ST/ PH candidates).

Both IGNOU and Osmania University holds a good reputation and recognition in India hence  degrees obtained from the same will hold value. Here , you should take decision based on your future plan or requirements. It is to be decided based on your intention to whether get the degree through distance mode or regular mode. If you are expecting immediate career opportunities , even though distance programs holds value , common choice would be regular. If you are already working then correspondence/distance course would be convenient .The second  point to consider is that political Science is a much diverse and complicated field in comparison to public Administration. Public administration is a sub field of political science,so you should decide according to your needs. Also it is not permitted to do a a regular or distance course in another university while doing a course from IGNOU so the answer to your second question is no.

The fees for IGNOU b.Ed course is around 50000, BSc nursing course is 45000. For the inter-University Examinations, student needs to pay 150 rupees for appearing for individual papers.

The registration date for PG and PHD courses offered by IGNOU is in between July to September.

You can get previous year paper for your specific course in IGNOU by visiting at https://webservices.ignou.ac.in/Pre-Question/ ,  here you will find the papers are arranged in terms of month and year in ascending order, you need to click on that link of particular month and year , you will be redirected to a page of various schools, here you'll have to choose your specific school, and under it you'll get all the courses amongst certificate, diploma, bachelor. masters etc, if you're searching for entrance test paper then also you'll find it in the above-mentioned link.

According to some of the internet research, the tentative date is June 1 to June 30 , 2021.

No detailed notice are availed for the students till now.

IGNOU conducts exam twice a year , in moth of June and December. But due to pandemic the December exams has been delayed. Also, IGNOU has released the tentative datesheet for December 2020 exams which would most probably be conducted in the month of February 2021, you can check out the datesheet here:

BAG course duration is 3 years with 2 semesters each year, means total 6 semesers. And term-end examination is conducted every year after each semester. So, IGNOU conducts exam twice a year in month of June and December. You can visit here for more information:
